For anyone who loves or is interested in Manga: @nessavamusic has an activity that she is hosting in March. She has a lot of corresponding information on her original post (and once i figure out how to copy links i will share here. I am ridiculously challenged by links sometimes)

The first full length book written and illustrated by the amazing Alex Ross. The artwork is stunning (as anyone familiar with the artist would expect), but the coloring needs its own set of accolades. The color schemes are gorgeous and psychedelic, expertly complimenting this tale set in the Negative Zone. The weakest link is the story itself; an updated version of a classic Lee / Kirby FF adventure. But that is a minor quibble. Outstanding!

Hickman at his most commercial, but still full of mind-bendy time travel stuff. The artists prior to Nick Dragotta are pretty meh.

Did you know that Daredevil's yellow suit only appeared in his first 4 issues? I bought this book a while ago with a couple other Daredevil titles, intending to read them around the same time, but since Tim Sale's death, I decided to read this one at least. A sort of Year One story, Matt is writing a letter to Karen (who has died?) looking back on their early time together. A perfect intro for those who watched the Netflix shows.

My book for #egypt month of #foodandlit. It was interesting, but it really shows its age now (simplistic, sexist, old-timey language). This was issue no. 19 of the original Fantastic Four run. I look forward to reading more recent Kang the Conqueror comics.

The Theo James character in the movies is named Four for only having four fears.

CrowCAH @MommyOfTwo it‘s sad how some movie franchises fizzle out and don‘t get completed. 3y
LitStephanie @MommyOfTwo @CrowCAH I hope they make more. Now I am totally going to try and read the books! 3y

The comics collected here were good, and I could just about see how they tied the story together, but it felt like it was taking some very big & unexplained leaps and just presuming we'd keep up.

Good for existing Marvel fans, probably, but for me (who's trying to learn more about the Marvel universe than just what's in the movies) it's a little lacking. Don't get me wrong; still very good... just not what I'd hoped.

Almost caught up with my reviews. This is for vol.3 and 4. I didn't love the drawing style but I enjoyed the stories, they were quick and fun.
