Very interesting book. Found it in Waterstones and picked up on a whim. If you like interesting books about famous corpses this is the one for you!

From First Kill: I never made it past the first couple episodes of this Netflix V.E. Schwab adaption, which is basically where the short story ends. I remember the graveyard fight in the story and show pretty well, though.
Robert Graves was an interesting guy. A soldier in WWI, a poet at heart, he wrote his most famous work because he needed money. It worked and he was able to buy a house and live in Majorica for the remainder of his life. Of which I am very jealous.

An easy collection of myth stories, a la Edith Hamilton, but much of this conflicts with other versions (like, ALL versions) I‘m familiar with - and I‘m not new to this game. For instance, Athena was found wandering as a child and Zeus just decided to claim her and made up the head-springing story, but Poseidon also tried to claim parentage? Um, that‘s different. It was worth the $.25 I paid for it.

Day 29 - #Paper
It‘s a windy, rainy, miserable Halloween, but my neighborhood decided not to postpone Trick-or-treating, so Olive and I are here ready to pass out candy. I‘m not expecting a crowd, so I brought my book. 💀 🎃 👻 Happy Halloween, all!
My #libraryhaul from the morning. The tagged book is @LeahBergen ‘s fault. 😆 Then I happened upon the other two.
All the colors of the rainbow!
Ready for the next one in paperback!
