Very short read with some interesting words from around the world. The beautiful illustrations are what make this book.

Finally put together my December #BookspinBingo! Coincidently, both book picks have similar titles…
#Bookspin: Other Wordly
#Doublespin: Other Birds
I‘ve already marked off books I‘ve read so far in December in free spaces. Truthfully, I don‘t think I‘ll have time to finish too many more books this month, but I have two flights that I can hopefully get some reading in and two books I am already currently reading, so fingers crossed 🤞🏼!
Today‘s #SavvySettings prompt is Prison. Some of Angela Davis‘s speeches criticizing the American prison system are included in this book.

Beautiful pictures and some amazing words, even some English ones, I have not heard of before!
Another shirt and sweet book to read between all the journaling my others are asking me to do!
⭐⭐⭐
This #nonfiction #history book was an interesting survey of World changing ideas that are still with us today. I'd recommend reading if you enjoy thinking about big ideas.
It also reads quickly because of the brief blurbs and quite a few images.
"Permitted foods feed identity; excluded foods help to define it."
"New thoughts are destabilizing, even dangerous. They generate frustration with the way things are or suggest possibilities about how they might be different."

Finally started reading this #nonfiction #history book after 2 years of it sitting on my #tbr stack
