This #nonfiction #history book was an interesting survey of World changing ideas that are still with us today. I'd recommend reading if you enjoy thinking about big ideas.
It also reads quickly because of the brief blurbs and quite a few images.
"Permitted foods feed identity; excluded foods help to define it."

"New thoughts are destabilizing, even dangerous. They generate frustration with the way things are or suggest possibilities about how they might be different."

4/5 - How does humanities affect science? E.O Wilson does a masterful job composing complex arguments for the necessity of Humanities in a culture primarily dominated by science. Wilson provides an insightful journey from our "Origins of Creativity" to the modern digital era with many interesting examples that will keep you engaged and thinking. #nonfiction #november #nonfictionnovember #NFN2020

⚖️ I read this for my book club. It‘s a collection of her speeches from 1994-2009. Unfortunately we continue to deal with the issues of race and incarceration she discussed back then.
