At this point I‘m exhausted on the subject. Read it as a curiosity. Well written. I can‘t say I was shocked. Anything that might of been surprising had been played out on the 24 hour news networks on the day of its publishing. Still too soon to be objective history. Read if you really want to relive it again.

This book was clearly written to exonerate Trump‘s inner circle but Trump clearly still is a danger for our country and anyone who supports him clearly opposes the very idea of democracy.

As always, Woodward‘s books allow us a behind the scene look into the politics of the presidency. It was especially interesting to read about the military‘s perspective on an Afghanistan pull out.

I stopped reading about this piece of shit the moment he left the White House. But all the coverage of this book on political shows drew me back in. While fairly interesting, there was nothing in here that was surprising. I expected to read that Trump wanted to nuke Canada on his way out of office, or something like that. No such thing happened. This is somewhere between So-So and a Pick for me.
