Thank you for another great discussion yesterday in #CampLitsy25! Just two more voting rounds to go before we pack our bags and wrap things up at Camp. Please vote for your favorite August read below!

In a few days we‘ll get back to you to vote for this year‘s winner!

See All 49 Comments
jenniferw88 Surprisingly, I'm voting for Tilt, as I think it'll stay with me longer than KoA. 24h
GatheringBooks Thank you for hosting this August! You were fabulous! I vote for 23h
DGRachel I really thought my vote would be different when Camp first started, but it‘s got to be Tilt for me! 23h
TEArificbooks Tilt 23h
TrishB Tilt for me. Thanks @BarbaraBB 22h
Bookwormjillk I‘m voting Tilt. Thanks! 22h
Oryx Tilt please 22h
Lesliereadsalot Definitely Tilt! 22h
Suet624 Tilt for me as well. Like others, I‘m surprised by my vote. 22h
BarbaraBB My vote is for King of Ashes. I liked Tilt (and much more so after our discussion) but this story grabbed me and didn‘t let go until the final page 22h
Leniverse King of Ashes 22h
Megabooks No question because it‘s going to be in my top books of the year - Tilt! 21h
squirrelbrain It‘s a difficult choice but I‘m going to go for Tilt. 21h
mcctrish Tilt 21h
JamieArc Tilt. I thought I was going to be one of a few voting for it. Seems not. 21h
Suet624 @BarbaraBB I was feeling the same way for a bit but Tilt won. (edited) 20h
CBee I haven‘t finished King of Ashes 🤦‍♀️ I do know that based on what I‘ve read so far, I‘d still pick Tilt (it‘s really stuck with me). 20h
BkClubCare 🗳️ Tilt! 20h
ChaoticMissAdventures I am so sad I didn't enjoy Cosby's book more ... I vote for Tilt 20h
ImperfectCJ This is a tough decision for me, but I'm going with Tilt as I've continued to think about the story more than I expected. 19h
Ruthiella I wasn‘t a huge fan of either. I‘ll pick 19h
peaKnit King of Ashes for me. 🔥 19h
AmyG King of Ashes 18h
vonnie862 Tilt 18h
Hooked_on_books I liked both these books, but where Tilt is good, KoA is a freaking masterpiece, so it‘s Cosby for me. 18h
Deblovestoread For me it‘s 18h
BookwormAHN King of Ashes 17h
Texreader King of Ashes 17h
rockpools I‘m won‘t be voting this time, as I really haven‘t given King of Ashes a chance yet (not enough to know if it‘s the book or me right now). I was surprised by how much I liked Tilt though. 17h
DebinHawaii While I did really like KOA, the Portland/OR setting of Tilt really closed the deal for this former resident. I‘m still thinking about this book. 16h
Maggie4483 Definitely 11h
cariashley I vote for Tilt! Both were disturbing and unsettling in different ways but Tilt moved me more. King of Ashes was entertaining but felt shallower to me. I know I didn‘t participate in the discussions the past few weeks but I just read through them and loved the commentary! 11h
BarbaraJean I don‘t know if I should vote since I skipped King of Ashes, but the fact that I skipped it is kind of a vote in itself 😂 So: 11h
Christine Definitely King of Ashes for me! 10h
Kitta Loved both but voting for 9h
Roary47 I really liked Tilt… it was also the only one I read so far. 6h

repost for @RamsFan1963:

We have a very eclectic selection for June's #ClassicLSFBC. I think any of them would make for a enjoyable read or reread. As usual, the book with the most votes will be for June, and the next closest will be the choice for July. I'll announce the winners on Monday. #ClassicLSFBC

Reggie Yayyy for Democracy Sausage Day!!! Looks delicious. 4mo
Jeg We voted early so missed out. Looks delicious. 4mo
LeahBergen I didn‘t get a sausage for voting here in Canada on Monday! 😠😆😆 4mo
CarolynM @Aims42 Australia voted in the federal election today. Our polling places are mostly school and church halls. A lot of their communities use it as an opportunity to raise money by holding sausage sizzles and sometimes cake stalls. It‘s become a part of the culture to buy a sausage after casting your vote. 4mo
CarolynM @TheBookHippie It‘s a community building thing 🙂 Doesn‘t matter who you vote for, everyone wants to buy a sausage. 4mo
CarolynM @Teresereading @Jeg Nevermind, maybe you‘ll get one next time😆 4mo
CarolynM @Reggie It was pretty good 😋 4mo
TheLudicReader I just heard about this…so funny! 4mo
CarolynM @LeahBergen We have to buy them from the fundraisers, they‘re not just handed out you know😆 I‘m watching the results coming in at the moment. It looks like we are replicating the Canadian result 🙌🎉 4mo
Aims42 @CarolynM Omg, I LOVE ALL OF THIS 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 How cool!! 4mo
