This title is a must read I feel if you're interested in reading a book about this woman, her life, her family and her experiences. Heartfelt and full of information I found myself sucked into this #chunkster. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks

I liked this book way more than I thought I would. I‘d never even heard of Kick Kennedy before this book.

Fascinating timeline of Jackie O‘s life and death. As time passes, more details are revealed, i.e., information that was sealed X amount of years (after peoples‘ deaths) is now available to the public. 😔💔

I finished this book on the same day as the anniversary of assassination of JFK. The effect of his death on Jackie is one of the biggest takeaways I had from this in depth and personal biography. But her dedication to her children and her family is truly what kept her going. Jackie's story and her image still resonate with us all these later and this biography will help readers better understand her place in history.

I have .ong been interested in this family and the history they wrote. This was a very good read regarding their private home on Hyannis Port. Interesting tale of the house and the people who called it home. #bookspin @thearomaofbooks

Leaming‘s stress on Jackie's PTSD was illuminating at first, but was repeated so often it got gimmicky, but I liked the emphasis on Jackie's forties & onward, when she was a conservationist who saved NYC's Grand Central Railway when it was threatened with destruction and saw through notable books in her editor role. These kinds of details make it valuable overall, since it is, admittedly, a well-trodden story that is difficult to make fresh.

So sad, and so moving at the same time. Rosemary struggled to find her place in her competitive family and was often kept from the public eye. And the decision to have a lobotomy performed on her and then hiding that fact 😡 But the strides that were made for folks with intellectual disabilities due to her struggles are inspiring.

I‘m at the beginning of the book, but Reading Jackie will appeal to people who are book lovers & fans of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.I like how it‘s focused not on her fashion nor the men whom she married, but on who Jackie was as a women. A women who loved of words 🤍
