QueenAnne I have to admit (remorseful) that this story is the reason I've put Bazaar of Bad Dreams aside for now.. I know I'll need to work through it, but it had me (a constant reader since childhood) going meh.. (edited) 7y

If I had to pick one, this would be my #leastfavoritebook. I love SK because even in his most horrific books there's always a character, a scene or a line that tugs at my heart... and I don't remember any in this. #stephenking17

Mr. Mercedes: A Novel | Stephen King

so-so

#StephenKing17 #day12 #leastfavoritebook This is not a book i hate is it just falls short with the ones i really love. Mr Mercedes is the first in the Bill Hodges trilogy, the second one sounds more interesting and it reminds me off Lisey Story and the third one was a supernatural ingredient that it spikes my curiosity so in provably going to continue just not now.

#stephenking17 #leastfavoritebook. I have to pick Cujo as my least favorite. I love dogs. LOVE DOGS. The whole time I read it (many many years ago) I kept thinking "that dog would like me. I could get him to like me". The rest of the time I just felt sorry for him. @Gayan @Josie

tpixie Your comment reminds me of my preschool/toddler self.(not that ur thought is immature, but that it happened to me when I was young-so know I know exactly what you mean).There was neighborhood dog who did not like children & I was supposed to stay away from it. I thought to myself "how could a dog not like ME?" So I went to the dog & patted it & it bit me in the face! I have the stitches and a scar to remind me that I'm not invincible! ? 7y

Bklover You sound like me- it is a stubborn belief that I am different and any dog would recognize that. I was about 21 when I read Cujo, but even now at 57 I would still probably get bitten in the face! @tpixie (edited) 7y

Josie Totally agree with you on this one. I read it in middle school lol and I had NO CLUE what the car was. But I remember the main character just annoying 13 year old me 7y

Wolves of the Calla | Stephen King

so-so

This is where I stalled out in the Dark Tower series 3 years ago. Everything was going swimmingly up until this book. I just could not get through it. I found Father Callahan's side story distracting. And that little tangent went on and on. Finally finished the series last fall. And I'm glad I kept trying 😊 #leastfavoritebook #stephenking17
