Pretty cute holiday cozy! I‘ve read one other in the series and I‘m sure I‘ll read more.

A lawyer by day-and then only when he's forced to take on new cases-Andy Carpenter's true passion is the Tara Foundation, the dog rescue organization he runs with his friend Willie Miller. When Willie calls him to say the alarm has gone off at the foundation building, they find a stolen rescue dog …standing right next to a dead body. An Andy Carpenter mystery.

This book is a slow beginning. I did not achieve my goal last year, but I did read some amazing books! New goal for the new year and the first book is The Jezebel Remedy!
Starting another book actually hoping to finish it! Will be reading multiple this month!!
Though not exactly the right holiday, like Andy Carpenter‘s wife, Laurie, I can get into the Christmas spirit any time of the year (though the photo is recycled with the updated cover- the latest of the holiday installments in the Andy Carpenter series). With his signature humor & style, this is another fast-paced & well-plotted addition to this great series! A friend from the dog rescue gets a chance to clear his name & it goes from there!
You know that feeling of mehness you get after reading so many books by the same author, especially if they're copies of each other? I'm starting to feel that. I still think Andy is funny but I definitely didn't enjoy this book as much I did the first three I read. The case revelation was a bit, hm unexplained? I wish it had felt more put together I guess. Still, I was entertained #mystery
It's always nice to get an Andy carpenter story in my ALCs! Also, I didn't realize I was almost at the 50% mark for Portrait of a thief 😯 I've been alternating between the two, maybe I'll finish them today? 🤔 #jubilantjuly @Andrew65 #bookspin #bookspinbingo
It‘s hard to believe that this is the 25th installment of the Andy Carpenter series! This latest is another funny and entertaining read! Andy gets a call regarding a chow who had been adopted out from the Tara Foundation, a will reading not long after soon has him once again out of semi-retirement. With the usual humor and charm, this fast-paced read makes for a great addition to this terrific series! Available 7/5/2022!
