Zelda is very disappointed in me for neglecting the #lesmiz365 project.

Life got in the way and, according to my reading tracker, I‘m only 33% through Les Misérables, when I should be at roughly 50%.

I still hope to finish by December 31st. I guess it‘s two chapters a day from now on. ?

Still proceeding with my #lesmiz365 project, despite being behind.

This is the section where I‘ve previously bailed on rereads. I find the Napoleonic Wars fascinating and I even attended the 200th anniversary re-enactments of the final battle, but Hugo‘s Waterloo chapters are a hell of a slog.

Still love you Victor! I know Cosette is waiting on the other side. 📚❤️

I‘m a little behind on my #lesmiz365 project. I had a couple weeks where I couldn‘t seem to read at all. 😱

I feel like I‘m finally coming out of it now, so I‘m catching up by reading two chapters a day for the rest of the month.

Update on my #lesmiz365 project. I‘m missing the occasional day, then reading two chapters the next to make up for it, but I‘m (mostly) on track.

Immensely enjoying finally rereading this book.

Poor Fantine has just been abandoned by Cosette‘s father, Tholomyès.

Bring on the Thénardiers!

I‘ve been waiting for the book store‘s post-Christmas shipment to arrive before I was allowed to buy one. It will definitely make my #lesmiz365 project easier on the wrists.

Also, yay for the first appearance of Jean Valjean!

Mein Kampf | Adolf Hitler

I have a question. One of the books that I am reading this year is none other than Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler😲But I want to get through it and one thing I know is it's better to get through a book with friends then to get through it alone. I also know that I can host a buddy read on this book without judgement here. My question is, would anyone join me in the interest of studying history and the pursuit of knowledge? What do you think? ☺️

BeansPage @tournevis I know a lot of people feel that way. I have never read this book so I don't really know exactly what to expect. But like I said I know it's better to do this with friends then it is to do it alone. I'm actually pretty nervous about reading this one 😬 5y

The undiagnosed self-loathing, the self-delusion, the masculinist overcompensation, the nationalist paranoia, the absolute, disgusting anti-semitism (and also anti-Other in general).
