I listened to this book while #audiopainting and enjoyed the heck out of it! It was absolutely fun: from Fizzy's zest for life, the concept behind the reality show, the "heroes," to the cameos by Jess and River it was a great ride! And Connor is going on my #litcrush list! ?

I enjoyed the other books by her I've read but this one I loved! All the rom-com references (book and movie), two people whose jobs (and thoughts and lives) are shaped by love of books, wonderful secondary charactors, and an adorable, punny small town all came together into something that simply worked for me. And let's not forget Charlie Lastra, a prince among men and new leader of my #litcrush list!

CoffeeAndABook I‘m saving this up for my soon-coming-up-vacation and am SO looking forward to it!!! 😃 2y
bookandbedandtea @CoffeeAndABook It's perfect for a vacation read! I hope you enjoy it! 2y

A newsletter I subscribe to (dated today) mentioned National Book Boyfriend Day. I assumed today was the day and began reminiscing about my very first #litcrush, Ned Nickerson 🥰, before discovering the actual day was Oct 3. 😒 Ah well. I still came home and mined my childhood set of Nancy Drew books for pics of the delightful N.N. 😁

Career of Evil | Robert Galbraith

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was so grimy and saturated with such evil vial violent characters I now need to read something lighthearted to cleanse my brain of the grime. That being said, This is the best Strike novel I‘ve read yet. They keep getting better imo and I‘m excited to read more. I‘m seriously in love with Cormoran.

bookandbedandtea Cormoran is pretty high on my #litcrush list! 🤩 3y

It's been a while since I've visited Sheriff Longmire's world and I'm not going to stay away so long this time. Not only do I really like this series (the harsh Wyoming landscape and weather, the little town, the workings of the sheriff's office, the respect Walt feels for the Native population) but my #litcrush on Henry Standing Bear is still going strong and I think I'll need to see him again soon. 😉

I had a feeling that once I read one Dorothy Sayers I wouldn't be able to tear myself away I was right. I'm halfway through this one and loving it. I hereby promise myself that I really will finish reading The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo very soon but for now I'm going to continue wallowing in Sayers' precision of language.

rretzler One of my favorite series. Love Lord Peter and Bunter. 5y
bookandbedandtea @rretzler Yes! I've always had a bit of a #litcrush on Lord Peter but this time around I'm crushing hard on Bunter.🥰😄 5y

jillrhudy Who doesn‘t? 5y
bookandbedandtea @jillrhudy Right? Well educated, well dressed, and well monied plus self aware and civic minded with a social conscience? What's not to like? 😉😁 5y

Sometimes I'm kind of glad my job leaves me little time for reading as I was forced to take my time with this book. I just love these characters and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them again. The mysteries kept my attention; Strike's and Robin's personal journeys were occasionally painful but in a good way; and my #litcrush on Cormoran is still going strong. PLEEEEEZE, J.K., don't let the next book take as long as this one did.

I'm not reading, or even #audiostitching, this afternoon. Instead I'm finally watching (and videostitching?🤔) this program -and loving it so far! I think I'll have to stop everything else I'm reading and reread this one for the fourth time.

Liatrek I just finished watching the Silkworm and can‘t wait for Career Evil next week! Good book and TV adaption😊 6y
bookandbedandtea @Liatrek I only watched the first book/series today (I want to draw them out) and it was soooooo good! I'm so glad these are finally available in the US. 🤩 6y
Cathythoughts I‘d love to see that series ❤️👍🏻 6y
bookandbedandtea @Cathythoughts I ordered cinemax for the summer specifically for this! I'll be cancelling in a few weeks. 😁 But I adore Cormoran Strike ( #litcrush 😉) so I talked my hubs into the upgrade. 6y
Cathythoughts Nice work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 6y

I'm enjoying working my way through this series. Walt is an appealing MC and his piece of Wyoming is filled with quirky inhabitants who keep things interesting. Also, I may have a huge #litcrush on Henry Standing Bear. Anyone else?
