Another assignment for our sexagenarian assassins! This one doesn‘t have quite the same fun and witty banter as the first book, but it‘s still a rollicking romp. And the women are just as badass as ever.

In this follow up to Killers of a Certain Age, the gang is back together when called in by the head of their agency after another agent is killed. This sets off their adventure which is lots of fun and just as laugh out loud funny as the first book. Loved it!

Finished today & it was a rollicking good time & maybe even more enjoyable than the first book! I love Billie, Natalie, Helen & Mary Alice & their brains, snarky wit & general badassery. Friendship & found family (be still my ❤️ Taverner & his cooking skills) make these books endearing. The mystery & thrills are fun & I loved the settings & food descriptions. I got a little worried at the ending that there would not be⬇️
I have been in the worst reading slump, but this certainly pulled me out of it. My favorite author has done it again. A great story, and I‘m so glad she brought back these wonderful characters.
In addition to being in a reading slump, I‘ve been absent from Litsy for much too long. Thanks to @TheSpineView whose note woke me up to how many dear friends I have here and that I need to reconnect. So, I‘m back!
What a riot! I loved being reunited with these fabulous ladies and getting to know them even better. Perfect light reading full of informative tips and life hacks for if you ever need to assassinate someone yourself.
I need to go to sleep, but this audiobook is just too good! I keep telling myself, “just one more chapter”…famous last words 😂
Another fun romp as the ladies get drawn into an off-book job for The Museum that takes them across much of Europe. The locations were fabulous and I enjoyed revisiting Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie. Their friendship contains some strife and snark but they are always solidly there for each other. They work smoothly together and trust fully in each other. Also, I have a new #litcrush - Taverner is a prince among men.

“After more than a year of laying low, our killers of a certain age are back in action!
They have enjoyed their time off, but the lack of excitement is starting to get to them.”

I just love these women. Such fun palate cleansers, I hope she writes more!
My eldest is competing in his first speed cubing competition today 👏👏👏
We're in the waiting stage, so he's off checking things out and making friends, and I get time with some book friends.
A day off and a book I'm looking forward to 😊
The sequel to KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE, this books starts about a year later when the 4 Golden Girls of assassinations come out of retirement to finish another job. A job that has ties to their first job when they killed a gangster on a plane. Someone in their organization is a mole and they need to find out who it is before they gets killed themselves.
I have an ARC of the sequel to KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE❤️❤️❤️
Killers of a Certain Age sequel, coming 2025? Yes, please!
