Good morning #LittenDetectives ! I have 6 questions/comments posted as spoilers for today‘s #NancyDrewBR discussion; you can find them on my feed, the book‘s feed, or by searching the group‘s hashtag.
Different plot lines between the story versions! It‘ll be interesting to see how they compare!
Our next books, also with different plot lines, is The Mystery of the Moss-Covered Mansion. Official post tomorrow!
Like @Ruthiella , I want to know why Nancy was on a ship going from the Netherlands to NYC! This one is not a favorite of mine—not only did I catch a few editing errors, but one of the adventure sequences seemed more convoluted than usual.
One thing, though: Nancy does not know how to speak Dutch, so I think there is finally one thing Nancy cannot do!
#LittenDetectives : Discussion on Saturday! #NancyDrewBR
We‘re two weeks away from our next #NancyDrewBR discussion, #LittenDetectives ! It‘s kind of fun that it takes place on the Ides of March! 😂
Whether you‘re going to South America or The Netherlands with Nancy, the title suggests there‘s a brass-bound trunk, and Nancy has to solve its mystery. What secret does it hold? Will Nancy have to fly a plane or steer an ocean liner? I guess we‘ll find out!
repost for @Librarybelle:
March‘s #NancyDrewBR follows Nancy on a trip—if you read the 1940 version, it‘s South America, and the 1976 version is the Netherlands. I think there must be a mystery surrounding a brass-bound trunk…😂
Discussion on March 15th! Please let me know if you would like to be added or removed from the tag list. Can‘t wait to see what amazing skills Nancy has this time, #LittenDetectives !
Can you believe we‘re now up to book 17?!?

Tomorrow is the day for our next #NancyDrewBR discussion, #LittenDetectives ! Did our heroine solve the tapping noise? What‘s up with the cats? Depending upon the version read, it should be a good discussion.
I‘ll post questions under spoiler tags early tomorrow morning!
And just like that, we‘re two weeks away from our next #NancyDrewBR discussion, #LittenDetectives !
Has anyone tapped their way into this month‘s reading yet? I have it slated to read next weekend. I‘m not graceful, so no tap dancing at my house (unless you count my cats tripping me and making me tap dance to stay upright!).
Looking forward to our discussion!
Great discussion for The Haunted Bridge, #LittenDetectives ! Feel free to keep chatting!
February‘s book, depending upon the version you read, may or may not feature Nancy in a tap dancing contest. But, the 1939 & the 1969 editions involve cats and tapping sounds of sorts. Will Nancy tap her way to solve the mystery?
Discussion on February 15th. If you would like to be added or removed from the tag list, let me know! #NancyDrewBR
It‘s time for our discussion, #LittenDetectives ! I have 5 questions posted as spoilers. You can find them on my feed, the book‘s feed, or by searching #NancyDrewBR .
This was a fun read and a good way to ignore reality for a bit. Our next one is The Clue of the Tapping Heels, featuring tapping noises in a house and Persian cats.
More info will be posted tomorrow. Thanks for reading with me!
