It's hard not to compare it to A Man Called Ove, but I loved this book as a separate entity. pickThis was a fun one! YA contemporary is hit or miss for me, so I am very selective about picking up a book from this genre.
#UnpopularOpinion : I thought Fangirl was better than Eleanor and Park. 😃 However, I am learning that Rowell is a solid writer that consistently creates excellent characters.
While I don‘t read fanfiction, it didn‘t detract from my enjoyment, and I definitely have my favorite fandoms. A few are hanging out in this pic. 😃
pickSo normally I wouldn't post this kind of book, but it fulfills some challenges so I have to. After eating as he recommends for a few days, I already feel so much better. I realized that my diet has totally changed after I began to rely on convenience foods while I recovered from two surgeries this year, but it's time to feel good again.
Also I like that it blends exactly with my counter.
