pickThis novel is slightly different from Mary Kubica's usual style. She typically intertwines the past and present, leaving it to the reader to distinguish between the two. However, in this novel, she weaves together reality, the past, and dreams. Jessie's mother's last wish was to be cremated after her death—and for Jessie to find herself. But as Jessie begins her journey of self-discovery, she discovers that, on paper, she is already dead.🎧
