nosferatoos Avengers 1: 👋 Its fine. We‘re finally getting some pay off with the Avengers BC team that was teased in Marvel Legacy which is cool. The only thing that will keep me on this book is my first and only son Robbie Reyes who I love with my whole heart. Look at him on an Avengers roster! I‘m so proud of him 😙👌 6y

nosferatoos Captain America 701: 👋 I don‘t understand why they‘re putting out issues after the big story arc climax issue. Just end it and pick back up at #1 is a few months. Over all I didn‘t care about this issue bc it is utterly inconsequential. 6y

nosferatoos Coda 1: 👋 Beautiful art, unreadable story. It felt so long and I didn‘t even read the last few pages. I might try go pick it up again but trying to get sucked into the story just wasn‘t going to happen. 6y

nosferatoos DC Nation 0: 👍 it‘s a good little sampler for the things to come in the dc line. The only really good story was the Tom king Joker story so that‘s the part that gets the 👍. I don‘t care about bendis Superman and I don‘t really care about JL in general. 6y

I was too busy for the last couple days and it was a super mediocre week for my comics pull. I‘m kinda tired of reading trash books just to see the characters I love. So here is a bunch of Marvel Comics and a DC comic I‘m feeling super bummed about lately.

nosferatoos 👋Avengers 684: It‘s still fine, Hulk is FINALLY back. But this story could have easily been a regular six issue arc and now it just feels like it‘s really dragging. 6y

nosferatoos 👋Doctor Strange 387: I don‘t really care about this Damnation arc. I am also kinda salty about it crossing over with Scarlett Spider. It‘s such a marvel move to try to save a low selling book by crossing yet over with a higher selling book but only if that book stars a straight white guy. America and Iceman were not given this opportunity 🙄 (edited) 6y

nosferatoos 👍Eternity Girl 1: Mags Vissago and Sunny Liew teaming up for a Young Animal book is pretty much everything I wanted. I enjoyed the first issue and I can‘t wait to see where this goes. 6y

nosferatoos 👋Marvel 2-in-1 4: I honestly forgot about this book as soon as I read it. It‘s not bad but it just feels like a half measure. Marvel sales are in the toilet and it would be so easy for them to boost sales if they would just bring back the full FF already. 6y

nosferatoos 🙌Mister Miracle 7: continues to be the best book on the shelf. Give Tom King a slightly obscure character and 12 issues and he will give you the best book of the year. He is so consistently amazing I am blown away by his story telling. 6y

nosferatoos 👋New Mutants Dead Souls 1: I wanted to love this book. New Mutants v1 is still, to this day, my favorite comic series ever written. But I don‘t really get this one. I‘m not sure how it fits into continuity. Illyana is being drawn like a teenager when she‘s probably closer to her early/mid twenties. The art is meh and Rosenberg doesnt have any grasp on character voice here. But being an x-fan in 2018 is all about lowering your expectations. 6y

nosferatoos 👍New Super-Man 21: I am still loving this team building. I can‘t wait to see what happens with Aquaman in the next issue. The whole book just feels really fresh and exciting and they‘re pulling together this very different version of the Justice League that works so well. 6y

nosferatoos 👋Sideways 2: I really liked the first issue despite the cringy dialogue. This is the first New Age of Heroes book that I‘ve actually picked up the second issue off. This one does a lot more heavy lifting than the first so it feels like a lot more work. The only reason I didn‘t love it is because it uses a police shooting as a plot device and I think we can all live without that in 2018. 6y

nosferatoos 👎Wonder Woman 42: Y‘all know how I feel about this book. Wonder Woman is being reduced to a sidekick in her own book and I‘m dropping it until James Robinson is gone. Honestly is there anyone out there enjoying this shit? I would take Azzarello‘s N52 run over this. The story was trash but at least the art was pretty. 6y

nosferatoos 👍Assassinistas 3: Continues to be a delight. I really wanted to like all the Black Crown stuff because that line is SUPER me in terms of aesthetics. But as it stands, this is the only one I enjoy. Chris Sebela has a book coming out with them so I‘ll definitely give that a shot but I wasn‘t impressed by Kid Lobotomy or Punks Not Dead. 6y

nosferatoos 👋Avengers 683: The linger this goes on the less interesting it becomes. There was an interesting twist in this one and for the first time in three weeks it didn‘t end with the last page “hinting” at [spoiler, even tho its not] the hulk coming back. I hope it ends strong. 6y

nosferatoos 🙌Black Bolt 11: I AM NOT READY FOR THIS TO END. Wow. This book has been incredible. Saladin Ahmed has made me care about so many characters I had not previously cared about so I am living for this book. And Wards art is, as always, flawless. 6y

nosferatoos 👍Captain America 699: I‘ve seen a lot of people complaining about this story and I guess I kinda get why. There‘s not a ton going on here but that feels like the point. It‘s a pallet cleanser. Let‘s have Steve fight some fascists in the future to get the taste of Hydra!Cap our of our collective mouths. It‘s not amazing but it doesn‘t need to be. Im okay with that. 6y

nosferatoos 👋Doctor Strange Damnation 2: I think I am in the minority of people who aren‘t digging this. It‘s fine. But it‘s not much more than that. And it‘s crossing over with Ben Reilly which is such a low sales red flag that if Ben Reilly weren‘t a white guy it would have gotten cancelled 6 issues ago. 6y

nosferatoos 🙌 Exit Stage Left 3: My only criticism of this comic is actually a pretty big one. They spend a lot of time in Stonewall but there are no transwomen or drag queens and that is almost as bad as making a movie where a white cis kid throws the first brick. Other than that I am really loving this. 6y

nosferatoos 👍Extremith 12: This was such a beautiful heavy issue and a really nice/devastating end to the series. Definitely pick up the two trades if you haven‘t been keeping up with this. It‘s well worth it. 6y

nosferatoos 👍Gideon Falls 1: I wasn‘t sure what to expect with this comic. I don‘t always love Sorrentino‘s art. His lines always look like he‘s drawing in MS Paint, which is impressive and not great at the same time. But he is on his A game here. The panned layouts, the perspectives, every thing about this is beautiful. I will read anything Lemire puts out so I am glad this was great. 6y

nosferatoos 👋Infinity Countdown 1: I don‘t like Aaron Kuder‘s art and I can put my finger on why. There is something just not right about it. That being said, this seems interesting so far. Probably not going to get all the mini series though. (Seriously, stop trying to make darkhawk happen) 6y

nosferatoos 👍Prisim Stalker 1: I was hesitant to give this a shot. The last pretty neon book I picked up from image was awful (dark fang—skip it). But this was, at the very least interesting. It was super weird. 6y

nosferatoos 🙌Shade the Changing Woman 1: ITS BACK! This is my favorite young animal book and I love it so much. I love that they brought back her supporting cast and are working to flesh them out more. 6y

nosferatoos 👍Doctor Strange 386: I was so in love with GHW doing art on Strange that I was prepared to dislike literally anyone who followed up. Henrichon did the art for the Secret/Civil/Infinity/War/Empire/Invasion/Crisis/Whatever tie ins and he continues to be a good fit for the book. I will miss GHW tho 6y

I‘m still not crazy about Reis on art but Doc Shaner is taking over on issue 4 and I am SO happy about that. 6y

I am always hesitant to commit to a Black Mask series because the next few issues can easily get delayed or cancelled before the book even really gets started. But here‘s hoping this one actually comes out. 6y
