I have been reading these books out of order. Technically they can all be read as stand-alones. However, I wish this particular book I had read sooner since it is about characters that are repeatedly mentioned in later books. Still enjoyed and was glad to fill in some blanks. 4⭐️

There were some things that were annoying. The romance in this novel was fine however, it felt like an afterthought. Like an editor said shove in romance and the author did so.
