Pickpick

This is between a pick and a so-so, which may be an #unpopularopinion. I devoured it in three days, but I‘m not good with endings like that. I definitely understand the point the author was making, but I just like satisfying endings more. I‘ve heard the show goes into more detail but answers questions, so maybe I will try the show if it doesn‘t make me too angry. #booked2021 #scifiwrittenbyawoman #bookspin #april #litsyatoz #a #seriesread2021

Bits I am not a person who tends to like screen adaptations, but the show is FANTASTIC. (You know, in a horrifying way.) 😁 3y
Scochrane26 Atwood often likes ambiguous endings. Did you read the last part where they are presenting findings? I didn‘t read that part the first time. 3y

TheAromaofBooks I still haven't read this one!! 3y
Cinfhen I also HATE ambiguous endings!!! I usually find them “lazy” like the author ran out of ideas or couldn‘t figure out how to tie things up. But for me, this book felt right in its ending however the sequel Atwood wrote was AWFUL!!!! HATED 3y

Mehso-so

I picked this up after seeing a librarian do a book talk about it, and it sounded so interesting. Only problem was that I forgot how much I dislike science fiction! 😂

It actually wasn't bad -- although I really struggled getting into it, I started to enjoy the mystery aspects of it. While it wasn't really right for me, I would recommend it to sci-fi fans.
