This was interesting. I think that I am already at a “medium chill” stage (pretty much happy with the status quo), and some people are like that, but it‘s not something that the author feels will really take off with most people. The author initially talks about how Western society became so materialistic... cont in comments...

LibraryCin describes different ways of changing this and whether or not these ways will take off (including the medium chill), then talks more about experientialism, as he feels this is the most likely that people will move to. 3mo

Who's looking forward to #Hyggehour again? It brought me such joy last week seeing all your wonderful posts. Sunday means it's #Hyggehugs day. So, take a minute to just slow down, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Ichigo Ichie was a beautiful book about reminding us to live in the moment and treasure everything. I loved their first book about Ikagai and this book made me feel just as satisfied and grateful. 💕

This was a fun read, with advise and reflections not just on how to live a more simple and happier life, but also on why. The authors are funny and frankly quite convincing (even if I doubt I‘d dumpster dive or make a roadkill stew), there are a some tips that seem a bit too radical, but most are doable. I got this book from the library, but I think I‘ll buy it too for the times when I need a better living pep talk.

What will Timeless Simplicity by John Lane help you shed from your life, and will you be more successful than I was at following his advice?

I finished my august #bookspin but not the double spin. 4 books read 2 dnf‘d. The rest might get switched around for September because of library holds:) The book is amazing as is her Simplicity Space Community. I joined and so far it‘s completely worth it!

Read this book while I was backpacking through Europe the last few weeks and honestly it made me appreciate life , my trip so much more. It‘s makes me really see how we are so used to living behind screens and not making the most of our lives. I encourage you to read this book and spend more time with friends or doing things you love. #18 read a motivational /inspirational book

After working at the farm yesterday, no cancer hasn‘t slowed my down yet, I went to Ollie‘s it was 15% off everything, Dollar Tree, the library, and Goodwill. These are some of the treasures I found.

I‘m not letting the new round get me down. I‘ve been through it 3 times before and I can do it again.

Working on the farm in a state of perpetual prayer is keeping me focused and ready for the next hurdle.
