I find this book decent so far. I‘m only a few chapters in but I do enjoy how it looks into OCD and how it can really trouble your life. It tends to get challenging living with ocd so seeing a book about ocd and you actually can relate to it is amazing.

This book was recommended by a student. But I didn‘t get much out of it. The main character was interesting enough and the side characters too...but it still felt flat somehow? I am going to use it for my #Booked2020 challenge though, so there is that: Summer|Eccentric MC — we can do these in any order right?

Cinfhen Yup!! So nice that a student recommended a book to you!!!! To bad it wasn‘t a pick😉 4y

This was definitely a thought provoking book. It really dove into so many different aspects of mental illnesses and managing them. I love the dynamic between the teens and adults and the idea of heroes throughout the book. I feel like the biggest point was that everyone needs saving at some point and it‘s okay to ask for help or let someone help you. Definitely a powerful novel with a big message.

The best part of this book is how accurately the author shows what it's like to have OCD. The worst part of this book is that it falls into that typical YA trap of having a character with serious mental health issues be suddenly cured because she found a boyfriend.

Jennick2004 I might have to pick up. As a sufferer of OCD (and I grew up in a household with other sufferers) it always interests me to read about it. 6y

TODAY‘S PROMPT: SAPPY SATURDAY

This isn‘t a “Sappy Saturday,” but a sad Saturday.

“SATURDAY NIGHT WIDOWS was very well written and is perfect for those women who are experiencing this terrible part of life as well as anyone who needs a lift. It may even help you know how to help someone in this situation.”

8.Um not sure, my fav book by him tho is Mr. Mercedes

Kaye I‘m glad you found that you enjoy poetry. Now you‘ll have a whole new area to explore. Thanks for recommending Mr Mercedes. Isn‘t that the one that has a fairly new sequel ? I‘m not a huge King expert so don‘t know that much about his books. I‘ll look into the one you mentioned. Hope you get some rest soon. 💤 6y

My name is Michele and I have a problem.

saresmoore I told the owner of the local bookstore (after my 2nd trip to the checkout counter) that I tried to join an online support group for my excessive book buying addiction. “It‘s called Litsy and it made my problem much worse.” 6y
Tamra @saresmoore 😂😂😂 so absolutely true! 6y

Ashley_Nicoletto For only approx $6 this is a steal. You just need to base your problem off the $5 rule. If it's under $5 then it's a deal and you have to buy it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 6y
MicheleinPhilly @Ashley_Nicoletto Thank you, enabler. 6y
