I liked The Power; I thought it was a clever idea, told simply (in a good way). Conversely, The Future, has a LOT of ideas and the narrative jumps about chronologically and also between characters.

There were also forum extracts that didn‘t work for me (badly formatted on the ARC) and a lot of comparisons with Lot in the Bible so I skipped those bits.

It sounds like I hated it, but I didn‘t; it‘s still a soft pick.

I mostly failed this month... I swear I always lose steam partway through all the challenges 😧😧 Hopefully, #TheFuture finds some answers for me and I can get back on track with my goals to a healthier life. In the meantime though, I finished a lot more in July than in June. I finished 6 books, and will prob finish my audiobook at work tonight to make it 7. I'm about 1/4 of the way through one of my #NetGalley books & will hopefully finish soon

#PrinceOfJuly Day 31: Who would‘ve thought Harry Potter will have a #TheFuture element to it, with their children, and unforeseen twists. Reading the first few pages made me slip back comfortably into PotterLandia. If I can snuggle right into a book, I would have done so. Was I jarred by the play format of the book?
