Slow summer mornings unwind with coffee and reading on the back patio. I am loving this travel memoir! Anyone travel alone? Where did you go?
Last summer I tagged along with my husband on a business trip. During the day, I was on my own in Austin, Texas. It was a great time!
5 stars!! Makes me want to jump in a camper (with a bathroom) and start touring the United States! Doreen might be my travel spirit animal! My first finish of of February but not a bookspin :(. #bookspinbingo
Read this one decades ago while on a holiday on the Gold Coast. I remember it giving me serious itchy feet for travel. I also remember getting through lots of books that holiday by the water.
I meant to read this for Reading Asia last year but never got to it. #IndelibleMoments #ExoticTravel @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
We are on #LetterQ already! I read this book several years ago. It‘s got the longest title ever! It‘s very funny. Ironically, I had just met an American couple on a trip to Ireland that lived this way which made it even more amusing. #AlphabetGame @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Funny, informative and a bit sad. This short account of her time in North Korea was a good read! I lived in S.Korea for 2 years so it‘s interesting to hear about the other side of the DMZ!
Memoirs and travelogues are not my thing. However, I really enjoyed this look at the religion, government, and daily life of the people of Bhutan. I would have preferred a little less of Lisa‘s personal history/backstory, and I‘ll put a CW in the comments, but overall I‘d definitely recommend this for #readingasia2021 #bhutan
