Oh, how I adore Billy Joel; I wore out my LP of The Stranger back in the day. And, my sister-in-law and I are seeing Joel perform with Stevie Nicks in December. So excited!
All I can see with this song is Gatsby singing it about Daisy.

My favorite uptown girls are the ladies of Gossip Girl. I never finished the book series. Perhaps I'll do a reread and revisit them all over again.

I saw Billy Joel in concert several years ago at Nationals Park. He sang 23 songs, including #uptowngirl and My Life and a moving rendition of Goodnight Saigon for which he was joined on stage by local military members. #volumesandvocals
