#whyiread I read beacause it not just offers escapism but hope that your not alone, that sometimes you read about people going through the same things as you and that everything will work out in the end either how you want it to or a different way that was the best way for you but don't realise till awhile later.

pickI first received this book as a Christmas gift in 5th grade. I'm not sure why my aunt thought it was a good idea to give an 11 year old who didn't like to read a book this big but I'm glad she did. This book is why I love to read now as an adult! It's just as delightful now as the first time I read it. It reads like #jkrowling, #douglasadams, and #shelsilverstein all in one. Definitely recommend. #whyiread
