This brings to an end the "The trilogy of five" Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It recovers some of the freshness that had lost with the last book, really enjoyed it, very good wrap up of the series. I'll definitely revisit it in the years to come, a good way to get some light, fun-chaotic reading. Might look for the BBC audios, if anyone knows where to find them!

This book is so much Douglas Adams! James Goss did an awesome job making a book out of different text fragments and documents. I had so much fun with this and loved how the characters evolved. And yes, this book made me laugh, just as every book by Douglas Adams does. Very well done, Mr. Goss!

Bk8 of my recent #BookMail is this larger than I was expecting “coffee table book” of journals, tv plays & drawings of the incomparable Douglas Adams, satirist & author of Hitchhikers GuideTo the Galaxy & it‘s resultant series of books & tv shows. With characters like Arthur Dent, Ford Prefect, Zaphod Beeblebrox & Marvin the Paranoid Android, he became the king of silly SciFi. Some of my favourite books of all time. Foreword by Stephen Fry.

Sadly, Salmon Of Doubt was never completed 😢 It would've made such an awesome book. Dirk Gently is such a cool character and I would've loved to read what Douglas Adams would've made out of this idea (where's the other half of the cat? 🤔) The book includes different by and about DA. Done didn't interest me that much, but many were hilarious. Just DA being DA.

After thinking we had a gas leak only to find out it's probably a dead animal in our crawl space, I need something fun to distract me from all of the reality this Monday has caused. #SciFiSummer
