Holly: A Novel | Stephen King
post image

1) Although I saw Owen & Stephen King on tour for Sleeping Beauties, I would love to meet Stephen King.
2) I am determined to finish Born A Crime on audio this week, It is a fantastic book, but as I started it at the beginning of the year it is a good example of why I personally don't utilize audio often. I only listen to audio while driving & then only during certain times.
3) Demon pooh exorcism. #IYKYK

TrishB I too would love to meet SK. 1y
Amiable I‘m with you on the audiobooks. I only listen when I‘m driving or taking a walk, so it takes me forever to get through one. 1y
AmyG Same here….Stephen King. 1y

🌸 Yes, but not always books. (Can I even post this on Litsy?)
🌼 Lunch breaks, evening down time, or hide in the bathroom. Audiobooks are great for commutes.
🌺 I seem drawn to literary fiction but am branching out into speculative fiction.

Thanks for the #wondrouswendesday tag, @Eggs !
How about you, @BeckyWithTheGoodBooks @fredthemoose @jb72 ?

Eggs Thanks for playing and sharing 🙌🏻📚👏🏻 2y

First Grave On The Right | Darynda Jones
post image

1. Darynda Jones' Charley Davidson series (tagged the first book). I'm almost done, just have 2 left to go.
2. In the third grade, I read 400 books for our class reading challenge. I don't think I've gotten anywhere near that since. Lol
3. Either Max or Rhys from Elizabeth Hunter's Irin Chronicles.

1) Either Vonnegut or Shirley Jackson.
2) I don't have any specific questions in mind.
3) Around 2,000.
Thanks for the tag @Leftcoastzen !

saresmoore I‘m just imagining the process of moving with 2,000 books. 😅 4y
vivastory @saresmoore it's actually more...I have a climate control storage container that Ive been renting since my ex-wife & I parted ways several years ago. Its full of boxes of books & my apartment is full of books 😬😂 4y
saresmoore See, now, that kind of thing is why we are friends! 😁 4y

TheLibrarian @vivastory I also own about that many print books. My husband thinks I‘m crazy for wanting a climate controlled room for my library. He just doesn‘t understand. 4y
vivastory @TheLibrarian Weather/sunlight wrecks havoc on books 4y
ValerieAndBooks How often do you visit your storage container? Do you have a database (ie LibraryThing ) of them all? And yes sunlight is bad — fades the spines 😔 4y
vivastory @ValerieAndBooks I haven't been there in a few years. I'm planning on going in a couple of weeks & looking through them. I have the ones that are in storage in a database, but I haven't done the same for my home collection. I should, though 4y
batsy Honestly I dream of setting up a climate controlled library... A distant one at the moment! The tropics with its heat and excessive humidity is so bad for books. 4y
Eggs Wow 😮 2000 is amazing! Thanks for your responses 👏🏻🤗📚 4y
sprainedbrain Shirley Jackson would be a riot! ❤️ 4y
