This book made me cry, laugh out loud, gasp, clench my fist in anger and frustration, and swoon. It has confirmed many things I long believed and showed me that things were even worse than I could‘ve ever imagined. This is the story of a man who took control of his life, who stood up for the love of his life and their children. Many others have tried to tell his story. Prince Harry has finally taken control of the narrative. Bravo! #IYKYK 👀😉

Another one where I felt like the story didn't go deep enough. The focus on anti-Asian racism was timely, but there was at least one plot hole that made the mystery not work for me. I did appreciate that this story was set at UMich without being set at UMich, tho. (Thatcher Graduate Library #iykyk 😂) #yalit #yathriller

This is actually my review for Along Came Holly. I really enjoyed this 3rd installment of the Mistletoe Romance series. My only gripe and this is extremely minor. Not a spoiler— I was a little peeved that we never found out where Holly hid the Santa “jolly johnson”. #IYKYK I was so invested in waiting for someone to find it unawares 😂 did I miss it? Other than that a great romance with a little spice. #WinterReadathon

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you‘re familiar with Shlesinger‘s standup, you‘ll understand this book, her delivery, funny voices, incredible arguments, and beautiful feminism. If not, then I don‘t think you‘ll enjoy this quite as much. She broaches some sensitive topics here, always with a humorous spin.

PS. Some of this material appears in her newest Netflix special. It‘s a good set, but her outfit was very distracting. #iykyk

I wish CH would write more thrillers because I finished this in one sitting. Just when you think you know where the story is going, you get a curveball thrown at you. And usually I don‘t like when the ending is left wide open for interpretation, but it works so well here. I am definitely team manuscript #iykyk
