Always and Forever, Lara Jean | Jenny Han
Lara Jeans letter-writing days arent over in this surprise follow-up to the New York Times bestselling To All the Boys Ive Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You. Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dads finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margots coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding. But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her fathers wedding, she cant ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jeans the one wholl be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her familyand possibly the boy she lovesbehind. When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

Met two out of three goals:

Started “Worlds of Ink and Shadow,” by Lena Coakley-on page 88.

Started “Daisy Jones and The Six” on audio from Scribd-at 13% percent.

I didn‘t get to 50% of “Always and Forever, Lara Jean,” but I am at 37%.

Lara Jean had a plan for college. But when her plan fell apart, she was worried about her fate with Peter. She had people rooting against them. But when you're over the moon in love with someone, you don't let those people win. I absolutely adored this book, and loved the trilogy. It gave me all the feels. This book shows more about love..it shows when you want something, go get it. Your loved ones with support you and be with you no matter what.

Lara Jean!

This made me nostalgic for my teenage days, which is saying something!

A great end to the trilogy, but I wish there were 10 more to come. I'll just have to check out Han's other works instead.

This is the final installment and it finishes the series so well though a part of me wants a later story when they're all grown up. The plot is simple and quite predictable and yet I loved every word. It's a perfect light read that I really loved. The ending was perfect and just made me fall in love with Peter even more. 5*

It's been a long time since I was here ...
I've read many great books, but also many mediocre ones.

This week I've been doing a binge reread of Lara Jean trilogy. Well actually only the first two were a reread.

But I love this series! It is so cute. And even though it is really light it does discuss some important subjects at times.

These are such feel-good books. I'm still smiling even though I finished it hours ago.

5/5 ⭐️s This was a great ending to a cute series! There were many "squeal worthy" moments between Peter and Lara Jean. I'm glad I have the Netflix movies to look forward to now!

Fun to see the whole gang one more time (Kitty! So cheeky and mischievous. Peter Kavinsky! Dreamy and full of himself. Margot! Grown up, responsible, and having sex. Chris! Bad girl going traveling.) It didn't really have much going for it plot-wise... there wasn't really any narrative tension? But I kinda didn't mind since I love the characters and it was fun to see how everyone was doing in Lara Jean's senior year. Great #audiobook narration!

I was never one of those who loved these books, but this last one started grabbing my attention. Is Jenny Han seriously not giving us another book about these characters? I finally got into it by the end. I really need to know if Lara Jean stays with Peter...
anyone else agree with me?!

Make it a big one. Have it span four years. Let us see the ways in which Lara Jean and her friends/family grow throughout those years.

Oh you guys, I really wanted to love this book but I just couldn‘t. It took me almost three months to finish. 😂 I only finished it because I wanted to know if Peter and Lara Jean stayed together. BUT I do love Lara Jean‘s personality and so I would read another book about her.

I‘m half way through with Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han. I have loved this series so much. The first book so far is my favorite but the last is coming up fast the more I read. Lara Jean and Peter are just so cute together!! They bring out the best in each other and for opposites they make a great couple. The movie on Netflix has become a sort of guilty pleasure of mine. Definitely going to be a series I read multiple times.

Loved this series of books! Sweet high school romances but with a good amount of focus on importance of friends and fam too. Lara Jean enters senior year with a boyfriend and hopes of attending her dream college. All three girls and their father grow as characters in this book but especially Lara Jean as she navigates leaving home and becoming an adult. Now to go watch the Netflix movies.

Lara Jean is having the BEST senior year of high school. She has her class trip to NYC to forward to, prom with her perfect boyfriend, Peter, Beach Week with friends after graduation, and her dads wedding. Then it is off to college with Peter in the Fall. Life couldn‘t be more perfect! That is until Lara Jean gets some unexpected news.

Oh how I loved this series...first loves 🥰 all the feels 🤗

The end of the series was cute. I was rooting for Lara Jean and Peter, but I am also glad that Lara Jean will get to figure things out on her own in college. Also nice way to wrap things up for all the other characters. Overall a very and romantic YA series.

This wasn‘t my favorite of the series. I got annoyed with it. It felt like Han was trying too hard to wrap everything in a neat little bow and answer all the questions. She didn‘t by the way. The end left out a large plot point as well. There was zero mention of it in the last few chapters and it left me questioning. It‘s an ok continuation I suppose but it lacked a lot.

Graduating and finally about to take their first steps as adults but can't seem to figure out their way "together". But love always pulls through, maybe not as we hoped. Lara Jean stays true to herself throughout this series. I love the way thet Peter K and Large love each other. I was hoping we would get a little more of step into their adult relationship. But a sweet ending to a cute series.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Damn, I blazed right through this series! In this third installment, Lara Jean and buds are wrapping up high school and are faced with the stress and excitement of “real life.” College is near. Mega challenges ensue. I moved in with these characters for the last few days and will miss them. And although it‘s only part of this whole, I adored the YA love story. I lived one myself (and am still living it 20 years later). Sweet memories! 💕

What a cute ending to this series. I feel satisfied with the way with ending that felt natural and hopeful. Lara Jean's decision to me felt like she chose herself the entire way. She has what she wants without force of anyone else. This felt much more mature and real issues that hs students go through. Great series!

I thought TALTILB was good, a fun little read but didn‘t plan to read the sequels. W/the sequel to the excellent Netflix adaptation coming and hearing raves about the whole series, I read the last 2 and Han did an amazing job of delving into such important topics in a young person‘s life (family, changing friendships, college, the future) beyond the (still swoon worthy) YA romance. perfect comfort reads that I gobbled up in just a few days. ❤️
