I've been reading this for about 2 hours and I'm completely hooked. I keep having to stop to do things, and I keep coming straight back to it. I'm exhausted and want to sleep so much, but I can't put if down once I've picked it up. It's drawing me in and holding onto me.

Such an amazing take on Peter Pan! I love dark twists on classics so much and this is officially my favourite so far. Honestly it's like a 12/10 rating for this one. I just wish it was longer because I don't want to leave the characters behind

This author never disappoints! It was lovely going back into the world of Alice and finishing her story. I really love the dark twist she puts into classic stories. Solid 10/10

I think I've found a new favourite quote in Red Queen. I think it's why we love to read our favourite stories over and over again. Nothing in a book has spoken to me like this in a long time. I think this book is going to be better next time I read it, just like all the books I've re-read in the past.

Took me a while because I'm not in a ready place. But this was a fantastic twist on a classic, 100% recommend if you love Alice in Wonderland! I'm already half way through book 2 after starting yesterday

So I was an hour early to a doctor's appointment today... luckily my boyfriend reminded me to put my book in my bag before I left. He's clearly a keeper purely for rescuing me from boredom of waiting around with no book!

Read this a while back but going to start the second one soon. I really like it, although I didn't have much of a clue what was happening for the majority. I think that's the intention really. You really need to be okay with being confused for this one. Overall 8/10

I've heard mixed things about this book before picking up. But the idea of The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars was something I'm sure I'd like. I know it's not for everyone but personally I love it. The characters are interesting with an interesting plot. It took me 4 days to read it which is impressive for me. I'd recommend picking it up and giving it a try even if it's not something that'll appeal to you at first glance

FINALLY finished this on the bus ride home today. Have to say the end made up for not liking some of the characters much throughout the rest of the novel. I did figure out the twist before it was officially revealed in the story, but not long before. I didn't need to wait for it to be spelled out. But I like it when that kind of thing happens, makes me feel clever. Overall I'd give it a 8/10

Halfway through reading this now. Hoping to get it done by the end of the week. I'm liking it mostly, although some of the characters aren't my cup of tea but the story is interesting. Also loving that it's set in the UK, will be helpful for my reflective analysis

Andrew65 I loved this but think I preferred her first one more. 6y

This book is such an amazing story, with good historical context with a nice mix of fantasy thrown in. The writing style is amazing and it's hard to put down from beginning to end. The characters are engaging and well written. One of my favourite ever reads! 10/10

Andrew65 Don‘t know this one, will have to check it out. 6y
