Adored this story about Trevor Noah's insane childhood under apartheid South Africa. Great, funny stories about really hard things that really make one appreciate how easy ones life is. I listened to this one and his accent is fantastic.

The other hot YA book I've been hearing so much about this summer. I adored this one. Girl buys lottery ticket for boy for his 18th birthday - and he wins MILLIONS. What could go wrong? I did not expect to cry as much as I did, but the tears were so worth it
One of the hot YA books out the summer. And I loved it. Arranged marriage, but one party doesn't know and is NOT feeling it. What happens if they fall in love anyway?
Always wonderful when the "bad guy" gets what's coming to them. ?
Fantastic!! Loved this one so much. What's better than a bookstore mystery with a little romance thrown in?
Fantastic memoir, but I don't agree that it explains Trump's victory.
So uncomfortable, but I couldn't put it down.
Fairy tale like story where a dark spooky forest erupts all over the world within minutes and destroys everything. Those that survived the Trees coming have to try to figure out how to live with them. Character growth, relationships, and a friendly fox. Plus some mysticism thrown in.
A million stars. I doubt I will read anything else this year that I'll love more than this one.
But then miracle of miracles: Mad smiled a little.
And I died a little.
And she left.
Is there a more perfect narrator for #TheBoysInTheBoat than Edward Hermann? I think not.
I stayed up way too late the other day finishing this one. The full review is up on my blog today - http://bigreadslittlereads.blogspot.com/2016/11/big-reads-girl-you-left-behind.h... What's the last unputdownable book you read?
Basically, I just loved this one a lot.
If I could persuade you to read any book, it might be this one. I loved it so much. I have a full review up on my blog at http://bigreadslittlereads.blogspot.com/2016/10/big-reads-man-called-ove.html?m=...
"Last night I dreamed I went to Manderley again."
The Wolf Road was unlike anything else I've read this year - in the best way. It was dark and twisty and though it opens at the ending, there's a huge twist that will change everything you've read. There's a full review on my blog today - http://bit.ly/2dzSQ54
I've been on a pretty big HP kick lately - working my way through the audiobooks. Jim Dale is fantastic and it's been so fun to revisit Hogwarts.
Currently reading - and really enjoying - The Wolf Road. It's pretty different from anything I've read before. I believe it's set in Canada, but it's post apocalyptic, and the characters have super strong Appalachian accents. It's very suspenseful and you never know what's coming from any of the characters.
Utterly heartbreaking. Especially when we find out what happened to Mabel.
Stories are the wildest things of all, the monster rumbled. Stories chase and bite and hunt.
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
