Haven‘t read it yet, but I‘ve wanted to for ages.
Set alternately in the 1980‘s and present day. About a group of young boys with a dark metal band and what happenened to their enigmatic lead singer. The present day plot is about Kasper (whose father was Grim‘s best friend and co-founder of the band), named for the late singer. Also about depression what it can do to you, and about Kasper‘s new friend Iris who is a really good friend.
I have decided to start reading books in Norwegian and Danish to keep my brain alert. It‘s quite easy for native Swedish speakers. Good book, set in a fascinating environment.
Fun book. And love the Christmas decorations. There were three more colors, but this post only allows one photo.
Still reading this, but wanted to share this image of a book store I saw nearby.
I tried again and had the story emailed to me. Now I can open it in Bluefire and presumably read it. When I have time. :)
Reading this now, but wanted to vent about another matter. I was offered a free short story through book funnel. It works on the computer/Kindle but not on my phone. :( No story.
This book was just as good as the others in the series. There‘s a djinn in it!
This, I think, is book 22, in this series set in Istanbul. As usual it seems to be a good read, but I‘m only about to start on chapter 8. I guess I‘ll soon know.
Maybe the last book in a totally fascinating series. Set in Tibet with a Chinese main character. As usual, reviews on Wordpress and Tumblr.
After all these years this excellent series has come to an end. It feels sad. I would have enjoyed reading more books in the series. Still, despite some fears for the future and some introspection, Nicholas is in a good place at the end. I‘m wondering what would have happened to him and his family (young newlywed son, with a baby) during the revolution. Many titles in this series is available in English (excellent translation).
It feels sad to be reading the very last book in this series. I know it will be a while until I read a book in French again. After this I‘ll be reading German books (as well as, naturally, books in Swedish and English). So far this book is very exciting, more action than in a long time.
Really well written, great characters and a fascinating mystery. Review on Dreamwidth, Wordpress and Tumblr later.
Since I still don‘t have access to a computer, this will be brief. I loved this book. It‘s well written, historic and a really good mystery. As if that wasn‘t enough, I loved most characters. Some are real people from 16th century England. There was also a completely unexpected twist towards the end.
This time I will definitely get through the whole book. I got a huge, heavy dictionary but for now Google translate is helping me with a few difficult words.
I just read this and quite liked it. If someone had told me maybe a year ago, that I‘d start reading - and liking - ‘paranormal mysteries‘ I wouldn‘t have believed them. Yet here I am. So far I‘ve started reading three series about paranormal mysteries and liked them all. This is the third and maybe the one I like a little less than the others. Werewolves, typos and something that would take too much explaining. Other that it was great.
In the past year we've travelled a lot and moved a few times. We're really tired of staying in hotel rooms and other rented spaces, as well as living in rented apartments. So we got this caravan. We really love it. From now on, there will be no more dragging luggage around. And I'm still working on reading that German children's book. Once we've settled down, I'll give it my full attention.
This is going to be tough, despite my new German-Swedish and Swedish-German dictionary. Sorry about the weird characters. It's the so called umlaut - the little dots over certain letters. I'll have to see how it goes. Right now it feels overwhelming, even though it's just a children's book. I have studied German for a while though, so I should be able to do it. Blog post about it on https://crimsoncorundum.wordpress.com.
Fun, old book. There's a whole series. Review on Booklikes. http://ilirwen.booklikes.com.

I'm vegan, so I thought this sounded like a fun book. It turns out it was. Review on my book blog http://ilirwen.booklikes.com.
Just started reading this today. I'm sure it will be as nice as the other books in the series.
Happy (Virtual) St Patrick's Day, from a 10 % Irish person! 🙂
My birthday books. I‘m back and I‘ll try to be more active, but we still haven‘t settled in after the move so reviews will have to wait.
Booklikes doesn‘t seem to have this book in its database. Of course I already knew it exists because I own a copy and now I intend to read it without my missing dictionary.
I got a book sleeve! Works great and I love the pretty fabric. Read more on my Booklikes blog - http://ilirwen.booklikes.com.
I recently became an aunt to two lovely little girls. Yay! Sunflower (nickname) is on the left and 'Sesamy' is on the right. They're growing really fast and keeping us busy.
Interesting read so far. And spring has finally come. With spring winds as you can tell by looking at my messy hair if you dare.
I really need to find a book to read. Since I can‘t find my French dictionary I don‘t really want to read my two French historic mysteries.
I just had to share this image of my lovely journal. It's so cute. I wish I'd been able to get one like this when I was in school.
When the Wood is no more
There will be woe in world.
There will be no more laughter on the wind.

My Christmas books. None in Swedish this time. I will have to do something about that in the new year.
I recently read these but couldn't include the title of the book on the right. Review later. I'll just say that I really liked them.
I really liked this book, which was a free download. If you'd like to read my review of it, please visit my Booklikes homepage. http://ilirwen.booklikes.com
My birthday books! Just two because Amazon will send the rest a month after my birthday, which will be about two months after the order date:/
Book meeting at the local library. My son is considering which books to throw on the floor.
I missed you guys. This is one of my dad's books. I loved the twist at the end of one of the stories, Youth.
Loved this. Here is my review: http://ilirwen.booklikes.com.
I found this in a low price shop. I had no idea they sold books and I couldn't resist buying it. It's a book I've been meaning to read for ages.
