I've been meaning to buy this set of books are read the rest of the Oz books for years. #BeyondtheYellowBrickRoad was a great excuse! I finished my reread of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz today. I had totally forgotten how much happens after the witch melts! Everything after this will be new to me, but to be honest, this one felt pretty new, too! 😜

I love both The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Wicked so naturally this is one of my favorite #Palace settings. 💚

I introduced my youngest to the movie and realized I had never actually read the book. Well, that is not acceptable 😁. So now I can say I‘ve read it and it was lovely. Loved the old illustrations.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum is a timeless TL book that follows Dorothy and Toto as they meet new friends and overcome obstacles on their way to the city of Oz. Each character in this story represents different fears and hopes. This is a great book to introduce to your classroom as it shows the battle of good and evil, and sometimes being who you truly are is the best person to be.
