Oh my god! This may have only taken me 20mins to read because of how short it is, but it made me sob. I absolutely loved Vincent in On the Other Side and am so happy to have something from his point of view

9/100 The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood DNF'd @ page 91

After having this book sat in my room since its release date, and being in the mood for contemporary books, I thought I'd pick it up and give it a go.

Sadly, I couldn't get 100 pages into it. I was so confused with how much it kept jumping around from one thing to another without any explanation

8/100 The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

Once again, West didn't disappoint with her writing.

Another super cute read, if not a little bit predictable in places, but definitely re-readable if you need a pick-me-up

7/100 On the Fence by Kasie West

I decided to buy this book, after falling in love with The Fill-in Boyfriend last year and boy I was not disappointed.

I read this in 3 hours, straight through, cover to cover. And I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot the whole way through.

6/100 Heroes of Olympus: The Son of Neptune

After being in a bit of a reading slump for the last two weeks, I am happy to say that I've managed to finish another book.

So glad to see Percy back again after only mentions of him in Book 1. And it's great to meet some more new characters. Cannot wait to move onto Book 3.

5/100 Hamilton: The Revolution by Lin-Manuel Miranda & Jeremy McCarter

Holy mother of God. This is so freaking good. I am so glad that I've gotten through it.

I found myself laughing, and crying, as I read through the annotations for every song.

4/100 My Mad, Fat Diary by Rae Earl DNF'd @ page 152.

I'm sad I had to DNF this book after hearing so many good things about it. I pushed myself to keep reading this, but I just couldn't get into it, and I didn't find myself connecting to any of the characters.

Unfortunately, this does mean that I won't be reading the second book in this series.

3/100 The Awakening of Sunshine Girl by Paige McKenzie

I read Book 1 in this series in June of last year and, as always, it took me absolutely forever to move onto the next book. But it's safe to say that I am still 100% into it. I also think that it's a pretty good sign when you finish the entire book in around 6 hours.

I cannot wait to get my hands on Book 3, and I'll hopefully read it later on this year.

2/100 Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

It took me a while to finally get around to picking this book up, seen as I read the Percy Jackson series near the beginning of last year (I think) and I've had this series sat on my shelves for almost as long.

I am so happy that I finally picked TLH up and that I have gotten around to diving back into the world that Riordan has created for us readers.

1/100 TURNCOAT by Ryan O'Sullivan & Plaid Klaus

To be completely honest, I don't think I would have bought this graphic novel had I picked it up in a bookstore, but because it came free in my My Geek Box for December.

FACT: Duke is the worst superhero assassin there is.

I loved the artwork in this graphic novel, and parts of the dialogue made me laugh. But the plot became very predictable in places.

Some stories were better than others but overall, it was a cute book and a perfect read for December ⭐⭐⭐

Just as good, if not slightly better than the first book. Loved meeting the new characters ⭐⭐⭐⭐
