This is the best book I‘ve ever bought 🥰
I really enjoyed this mystery, so much that I started the second book as soon as I finished it. Love that it was set in Australia.
Overall I liked this book but I felt like the second half wasn‘t as good as the first part.
My first book for #52BookClub24
Got through this audiobook quite quickly at work. I enjoyed the world building a lot more in this second instalment but there was not much character progression. Overall this book was missing something I can‘t quite describe.
Set in Victorian England, a witch and a private investigator hunt a serial killer.
My first audiobook at work for the year. The story had potential but I thought the whodunit was a bit obvious. I liked the narrator and I‘ll give the second story a chance.
I liked this second instalment. The main character is a little annoying but I absolutely love the quirkiness of the supporting characters. This was the first book I finished of 2024 and I am loving the covers of this series!
This book came up on a FB ad late last year and I got it just for the cover. I was not disappointed. A good mystery with quirky characters. I read it in one sitting on a flight to Japan just before Christmas.
Listening to this whilst at work for the second last work week of the year
I chose this book because I thought the cover was pretty. I liked this story enough to continue the series but I‘m not sure if I‘m getting too old now to read academy books 🤷🏻♀️
My first book of 2023 and i thought it was great. A lot of world building. It‘s part 1 of the first book and I can‘t wait to read part 2
Would you have done anything different, if you had the chance to undo your regrets?
The midnight library was my first book of 2022. It was a little slow in parts and I found it hard to connect with the main character but it has an interesting concept and overall lived up to the hype.
This ebook was banned by amazon shortly after being released. I quickly bought it so I could see what the fuss was about. It's an extremely taboo book and has caused a lot of controversy in the indie book world.
I read it in one sitting and I'm still not sure what to think about it.
Colleen Hoover is organising Book Bonanza, a book signing in Denver, Colorado for July next year.
This morning I got up early so I could buy a ticket when they went on sale at 3am my time.
I'm really tired now but super excited to start planning my first USA trip
I finally finished the #julyisstrange readathon.
I ended up quite liking the story but annoyingly everything happens in the last 20% of the book so it's a chore to get to that part. In saying that, I feel like it needs to be that way to really understand the story.
My babysitters club and little sister book collection.
I'm going to start reading them with my daughter at bed time

Just about to start this book. I have no idea what it's about but I like the cover
It was my wedding anniversary on Thursday and my husband got me this. The illustrations are beautiful ❤️
My pre-order of The Iron Tiara arrived to my kindle yesterday and I didn't realise! I can't wait to start it tonight.
Annoyingly the book isn't in litsy.

Today's reading is not very exciting 😒📔📙📚
I started this book yesterday for a fb group read and I couldn't put it down. I stayed up all night to finish it.
It was dark and disturbing. I felt unsettled and haunted as I was reading it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Better than I had been expecting and an interesting concept. I might even read the next one in the series. Maybe.
My first July read for Quirky blind date with a book.
It's meant to be suspenseful romance but not there's not much suspense yet 🤔
Finally caught up to day 5 of the #julyisstrange read.
I'm really enjoying it so far
I've just signed up for a Litsy penpal. I can't wait to find out who it is. Thanks for organising @steverogers #litsypenpals
All you need is one clear-headed person who has good instincts. You find one like that, you hang onto them and follow them anywhere.”
? I placed my hand on the page and imagined the feathers flying in the breeze, floating over the markets, over the town, and up into the blue skies, blurred white by the wispy clouds above.

I recently met TJ Hamilton and won her two books Buying Thyme and Finding Thyme at a readers retreat!
