I am loving this book so far!!! What a great take on one of my favorite books - Jane Eyre. Has anyone else read it? What do you think?

I love it when you find the perfect book for your current mood/state of mind. You were just what I needed!
On to my next Agatha Christie! This one's starting off really good...
Next up- so far so good. It's an interesting look at living alone, at the 'stigma' and how the number of ppl doing so has sky rocketed over the years. I've lived alone before, but always while in a relationship- now I'm on my own for real and I'm super excited. Picked this up to see other ppls experiences! I love random nonfiction like this.
I can't believe this is my first Agatha Christie book! I'm not a huge traditional mystery fan, but this was a quick, engaging, and fun (read: sometimes goofy) read. I guess I'll have to make my way through her whole collection now.
Completely awesome - this is now one of my favorites! Does anyone have any recs for similar books??
#getindie Another favorite indie bookseller of mine... Malaprop's in Asheville NC. Cozy, honey, and eclectic in their offerings- definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

I see a trend in my TBR......
Good so far... I like the inspirational tone to it!
"You have to accept that sometimes that‘s how things happen in this world. People‘s opinions, their feelings, they go one way, then the other. It just so happens you grew up at a certain point in this process.” – Kazuo Ishiguro from Never Let Me Go
"When you come out of the storm, you won‘t be the same person who walked in. That‘s what this storm‘s all about.” – Haruki Murakami from Kafka on the Shore
Loved this little book. It's darker and goes a little deeper than what you would expect, but that makes it stay with you longer. Magic, fantasy, and mystery all centered around a home for wayward children. It's a quick read but I wish there was more since I'm not ready to give up these characters!
Sometimes you just need some fluffy (yet smart) romance.....check ☑️
Working my way through the world of Jhumpa Lahiri...
Lucy Knisley knows all... This is exactly what my life has been like as a serial mover (minus the heartbreak)!
An important read
A Mystery with some magical elements. It definitely pulled me in from the beginning, and there weren't any slow parts. The dialogue was a little hard to follow at some points, because it relied on you to remember certain things from earlier. Great book, great characters, and an interesting premise told in a way I had read before. Would definitely recommend!
New day, new book! Has anyone read this? It sounds interesting - mystery, Victorian London, and watches?
"There was another life that I might have had, but I am having this one.”
― Kazuo Ishiguro
“Memories, even your most precious ones, fade surprisingly quickly. But I don‘t go along with that. The memories I value most, I don‘t ever see them fading.”
― Kazuo Ishiguro
“I think most serious and omnivorous readers are alike – intense in their dedication to the word, quiet-minded, but relieved and eagerly talkative when they meet other readers and kindred spirits.”
Paul Theroux
So many books but I choose to download new ones on my Kindle... I may have a problem....
A different (and thought provoking) way to look at the US!
"It's strange what you remember, what will keep."
