I know I say this after I finish each book in this series but I think this might be my favorite❤️❤️❤️ Dual POVs for Mercy and Adam the entire book. New location with new characters like Larry the Goblin, Golem, and Matt Smith. Learning Mercy loves Doctor Who❤️❤️ Great story with an interesting twist at the end. This is just my new fav series period!!!!
FINALLY got around to reading this one (yes I am a few books behind now!) and it was worth it despite the wait.
Another solid book in the Mercy series, a nice mix of characters, and a change in location - an unexpected trip to Europe.
This was also my #Bookspin (and was last year too…)
I‘m a bit late but here‘s my August Wrap up.
Best book for the month has to be Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs but I really enjoyed everything I read this month with the exception of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Catching up on my favorite series.
Silence Fallen is the 10th book in the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs and I think it just might be my favorite book so far.
This gets me an Ordinary in Demonology (read a fantasy) at #oriliumacademy

Prompt: A Book Character that My Orilium Character Would Get Along With.
Veta Mae would get along with Mercy Thompson because they are both resourceful. They may get into trouble but they always find a way out.

The next installment of my favorite series comes out next month. It‘s my most anticipated release of the year and I still need to catch up…..
This is one wild ride with Mercy, as usual, coming out on top.

Sorry @BookwormAHN for the late reply
@TheSpineview #Two4Tuesday
1) bought the tagged book, looking forward to it
2) in the evenings I sometimes drink a whisky or beer, during the day it's tea. I think I usually have a drink nearby while reading
I know Mercy gets kidnapped and is in a really tight spot, but to steal the ebook reader of someone on holiday. I can't help and think of that poor woman without her e-reader!
Another title from #BookSpinBonanza conquered. I enjoyed coming back to Mercy‘s world and the assorted characters. Once again Briggs spins a tale involving an element of mythology that intertwines with the politics of the crisis du jour.
#BuriedAliveChallenge
I love this one, but it has a ridiculous number of plots happening.
#BookishBingo: Published in March
#Pop20: Set in a country beginning with "C" (Czech Republic)
Yesterday I met with friends, we drank tea and talked about needed something light after the Stephen King. One of them let me borrow the Mercy Thompson as something light and fun (she is the one who started me on the series) and the other one suggested Charles Davidson. Anybody has another suggestion?
Reread this for the new one coming out on Tuesday. I LOVE this book. It's different from the others in this series in several ways and it was nice for a bit of change. The action starts at the very beginning and doesn't stop. I'm pretty psyched for the new one.
#BookishBingo: Paranormal
#Pop19: Reread of a fave book
I am unfortunately getting out of this series, it lost its drive by now. Not much happened and the ending was weak and uninteresting, as if the resolution was left for the next book in the series.
The 10th book in this UF series. I'll start it after the borrowed books. #S for #AtoZLitsy
This was probably my favorite Mercy Thompson book yet! I loved the different scenery and I loved the storyline and getting some of Adam's point of view.
For every @DeweysReadathon I buy myself a book and then don't read it until days or even months later. This will be the #readathon where I break that trend. (I feel like I should have made cookies instead of brownies, but I'm sure Mercy would approve of my brownie breakfast.)
Finally got the paperback version! I read it not long after the publishing date (hardback) but it‘s been almost a year so time for a second read!
I always love visiting Mercy‘s world, it‘s like falling back in with old friends that you haven‘t seen for awhile. Sadly I only seem to visit them on their worst days though, LOL. These characters have grown so much, and I love the secondary characters that have developed into complex characters themselves. And as always, I love Adam and Mercy‘s relationship, it‘s grown so much and they take care of each other in the best ways, loving each other..
Another awesome Mercy Thompson book! This series has a way of catching hold of you and keeps you wanting more!
I seriously love these books! I‘m a little embarrassed that I didn‘t catch that little surprise at the end, but I didn‘t see it coming...
Cuddling with my guy on our “new” oversized chair (it‘s a hand me down... free chair!) and trying to finish my book while he watches football. The Bills are just a constant disappointment...
I don‘t know if I‘m coming down with a flu bug or if it‘s just pregnancy, but I‘ve been completely exhausted and achy the last few days. Finally I decided a sick day was in order. Just took a 4 hour nap and now I‘m curled up on the couch to read the afternoon away.
Happy night 😍
Drinking tea, eating chocolate and reading some good books with my husband while the little guy sleeps upstairs. I started right in on the next Mercy Thompson novel while Tony reads the new Brandon Sanderson.
Mercy is like an old friend who you haven‘t seen in awhile but you pick up right where you left off. You still have the same amount of fun as you always did.
This description 😍
Another excellent book in the series and a great follow up to the previous book in the series. Vampires, and the king of vampires, decides to play with Mercy and Adam and they go forth to do battle each in their own way. This is a great series if you like strong female characters and like to see women who save themselves but are happy to share an adventure. 4.5/5 stars
I started reading American gods which is why I did not finish this book earlier. I enjoyed the story and meeting the new characters. There was a part then drag a little bit, but all in all it was an awesome tail. I am looking forward to reading book 11 in 2018. Mercy is and always will be my fave. I knew there was something fishy about that one character . He popped up out of nowhere. Lol #silencefallen #patriciabriggs #mercythompson
I've had this book since March and I just realized that the cover art represents Mercy's car accident. I don't know how I missed that.
I love this series. Fantasy with a strong woman character. The book does not disappoint. Recommend!
Mercy #startswithm! (And otherwise I haven't read anything in the M-N-Os since January and I'm trying to tie in prompts with recent reads...) I always look forward to a new book every April set in this world, particularly now that Mercy isn't always doing minor random conflicts with all the other women in her life. #urbanfantasy #jubilantjuly
About halfway through this latest Mercy Thompson installment. I'm kind of surprised by the multiple points of view, but I like it! #patriciabriggs #mercythompson
My current read. Have you read it yet? It is getting mixed reviews. I am a long time fan so I am sure I'll love it.
Really enjoyed this series. Can't wait to see what happens next to Mercy and Adam
I really liked this addition to the Mercy Thompson series. No matter what she gets herself into, Mercy can always take care of herself while still relying on the support of husband and pack. This series is fun and entertaining. This book holds true to the prior books. Mercy only gets better!
I'm in a reading withdrawal! I haven't been able to read in three days because of my brother's wedding. I've been trying to find time to read this book those three days, finally got some this morning!
I love it when I see a book at the library I'd completely forgotten I was waiting to read!
Briggs doesn't write a bad urban fantasy, and this book was no exception. A bit different in that there wasn't a big boss battle, but this story let Adam spend more time center stage.
As usual, this latest in the series is simply wonderful, and I'm hoping there's more in store for Mercy and Adam in the future! On a personal note, I just recently started a new job, and I'm bummed over having practically no time for reading. 😳😢😥 Just had to return 3 library books because I ran out of time. *sigh* #romantsy #osrbc
Here are all of the library books I have to choose from for the April 2017 Dewey's 24-Hour #Readathon
I think I will try to read Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs first, though my actual first book will be an audiobook. I want to re-listen to The Chimes by Charles Dickens. This will be my fourth attempt at it, but I recently read the Kindle edition so I am hopeful of understanding it this time. :-)
The not completely linear style was interesting. I loved Mercy's comments at the beginning of each chapter. I wish it was a longer book, though. Some of the subplots would benefit from more development, but overall it was another really fun Mercy book. I might have to reread it due to a reveal at the end that I completely missed. Looking forward to more. #werewolves #fantasy #vampires
"I'm a mechanic; I fix things that are broken. I turn into a thirty-five-pound coyote. I have powerful friends. But when it comes right down to it, my real superpower is chaos." Another great Mercy adventure.
