Almost a month into 2018 and only now picking up a book. Watched Cate Blanchet's Elizabeth the other day and caught a yearning for some Elizabethan period reading. Haven't read any Alison Weir so let's see how this goes :)

Just finished this and went looking for a cover image (I usw a Kobo ereader, as there are no libraries where I live). I found all covers for this book are awful. I settled with this.
The book was ok. The God Emperor goes on a lot. I'm not sure I got all of what Frank Herbert was trying to say. Maybe the gist of things but I can't explain it to others. Would I recommend it? Only if you had a lot of patience and appreciate existential commentaries.
So I'm trying to put together a #litsyAtoZ for this year (my first). I'm going with first letter if the titles and so far I have 14 letters plus 9 subs. I'm limiting myself to 3 series (2 re-reads). Trying to fit some non-fiction in there too - 3 + 1 sub so far.
Am I doing this right? LOL #TBR
Hi! #litsynewbie here. Thought I'd start out with my books from 2017. From my Goodreads challenge apparently I read 21 books. Challenge is to do better in 2018.
