Absolutely beautiful book where fae are more like the classic mythology and autumn descriptions abound. I loved this and want to reread it again.

It's hard to get me to the point of tears while reading but this book did it. I'm so sad my first read is done but I look forward to the day I reread the series again.

Like every other "groundbreaking" piece of literature with a main character who does odd things that's unnoticed by her parents and at least once kisses the same sex "just for the hell of it."

I think I was expecting more deep thoughts and consideration of the areas, less play by play clips with varying description.

Utterly breathtaking and moving. My heart ached with sympathy and rejoiced with familiarity.

I think this handles the topic of trauma and the various ways teens handle trauma quite well. It's unapologetic in its approach that people sometimes struggle and it works through the grieving process while also displaying hope. Easy and quick read.

This will be a hit or miss for fans. Many say it's like fanfiction and I can see where they get that from. It oddly covers a lot of areas and questions ask since the original books and it feels a bit strange to be reading about the infamous trio when they're nearly 40 and not teens.

Featuring a sign I made for my wedding.

My favorite book, read in middle school and reread throughout life. This book inspired me to write more and to dive further into fantasy.

A fun, fast read. I was pleased to see a cast of nearly all POC and enter a world not often found in YA lit. A love story, decent if that's what you're here for, and it also leaves you hanging.

This book speaks to the teen who was desperate for attention and to feel wanted. And for that, it leaves a funny taste in your mouth as you wonder if Evie could have been you. The book is great, descriptions on point, I could nearly smell the scent of pot and hear the 60s music play.

This book was a quick, easy read that's very identifiable if you so much as existed within the halls of a high school. Funny, but also full of emotion, I found myself grinning while reading the final chapters.

I wanted to like this book, I love the show! But the book lacked the heart that the show has. It would make for a great narcissistic analysis as the main character is utterly awful. The book left me feeling depleted, although glad to be done with it. Save yourself the effort and just watch the show

Shan-nana I totally agree! I'm so disappointed with this one but glad to hear I'm not alone in hating Quentin. 8y

Sort of disappointed in this book. The author passes over so many scenes that would've been worth description. He also didn't really paint an emotional world for me. It was bland and the plot could've been so much more if given more attention to detail.

Shan-nana Absolutely! I watched the movie first then read the book hoping it would flesh out the details and emotion. But it felt like the book brushed over all the good parts too. 8y

I loved this book. A collection of reflections and observations on the natural world deep in the heart of Virginia. It isn't an easy read because it makes you think of linger over the worlds but it's still so perfect. Something to read when you've the time to really focus.

One of my favorite books! The pages contain subtle floral magic, sisterly bonds, the warmth of a summer sun, and hopes and dreams. I lost count of how often I've reread this book. This is the perfect summer or beach read!

A group of friends of all shapes and sizes, with varied backgrounds, who kick butt and take names. This is a mature, fun comic series filled to the brim with awesome, powerful, strong women.

Based on the description of this book, I thought it would be something supernatural. It's not, however, so that left me a little disappointed. Otherwise, it's a peek into a girl's life and the struggles she faces over a few weeks in the summer. A quick, easy read with a too-fast ending.
