YES!!!! 🙌🏽♥️ Now THAT was exciting!!! 😃A huge leap forward in writing style since the first book! Just a warning though... like everything this author writes, it took about 24 chapters to warm up but when it did, I was addicted and HOOKED!! I didn‘t like the romance, but at least the main character has more layers now and the story has more gray areas not just black and white. Lots of fun characters this time around too!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Cannot wait to find out what happens next! 🤭

Absolutely loved the second book in the Throne of Glass series. Just the right amount of mystery and intrigue and quite a shocking twist. I can‘t wait to read more

I am officially hooked on this series. The pages just flew by. Celaena is a kick ass female who doesn't take crap from anything. Loved the twist at the end of the book. Off to the next book!

This was exactly what I was hoping for from the sequel. It provides so much more on the history of magic and the genealogies of our characters. There were definitely parts that crushed me in this book (I'm looking at you Chaol) but I've found that even though I'm invested in these characters, I'm not as emotionally attached to them as with her ACOTAR series.

I know it‘s been less than a year since I read the Throne of Glass series, but I loved it so much that after I borrowed copies of the series, I had to buy my own copies of my favorite books from the series for my collection. 📚I loved Crown of Midnight just as much the second time through!

A perfect second installment, while a little slow to start, Sarah J. Maas built on every stepping stone placed in Throne of Glass successfully drawing me. Secrets, mystery, romance and packed with action, this one left me hungry for more.

Book 2 in the series and yes, now we are talking! Book 1 was a bit slow for me, but I appreciate the time taken to set things up. Book 2 saw a lot more action, reaction, discoveries, and plot development. Both Chaol and Dorian need more character development but I like where they are headed and their stories. Caelana was still bugging me at first, but by the end I was in her corner. I‘m hooked! It‘s still no ACOMAF though 😂 #morerhysandplease

Crown of Midnight ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and Heir of Fire ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘m really enjoying my reread of the series! It‘s taken me a lot longer than normal between some doctor‘s appointments and traveling for work, but I‘m finally back on track! 🔥 👑 🧚‍♀️

Loved #ThroneofGlass now onto #CrownofMidnight ! I know the series gets longer and more intricate with each book and I hope the excessive need to keep reading continues as I read through them.

Book 2 of the Throne of Glass series... really enjoyed the first one, so I'm excited to see where the story goes from here!

This book is my favorite in the series so far. I love all of them really. So much so there's a read-a-ton I think I might join that would require me to re-read them. 💕 🌹 I just finished these books. Ha! That's how much I've enjoyed them. Once I start I'm drawn into a story that's difficult to break away from. She is fierce!

I found the first book in this series slow and I wasn't sure if I would continue. I'm so glad that I did! This book was action packed with more complex character development and a more expansive story. Loved it!

I actually liked this book well enough! It probably should have gotten 4 stars from me but it screams American soap opera.. you know, the TV shows that have been going on for over 20 years? It's moving well and the plotline has built, but I feel like the story is just going to get more and more congested. Does any of that make sense?

I'm so thankful that too many books to read at once is the worst of my problems right now.

Again, the beginning was tortuously slow. It took 200 pages to get any sort of significant action or excitement going. Everything was more world-building, character development, and information necessary for later in the story.

After that halfway point, though, everything exploded. Action! Excitement! Death, lost loves, and secrets galore. And that twist ending! Excited to begin the third installment!

I'm so glad that this series is finished because I cannot wait to go onto the next book! It's so well written and keeps you engaged until the last page. I'm looking forward to see what happens to Celaena, Chaol, and Dorian next!

How have I been sleeping on this series for so long????? Book two was even better than the first and I am absolutely itching to get my hands on book three. Not sure when I‘ll get a chance to go to the library though, so in the meantime I‘ll just scream about how much I flipping love Captain Chaol Westfall to anyone who will listen 😊

I'm still on the fence about this series. On one hand I LOVE the story line and gave it 4 stars but it's a little long winded. It took me over half the book to get into it. Have you read it do you like it?
