I can't even begin to put into words how much I love this book. It's an incredible story of bravery, finding oneself, growth, female empowerment and strength all wrapped up in a dark, real, powerful spin on a fairytale we all know.

Guys, I cried. So. Much. Reading this. Amazing, happy, ugly tears. The writing is beautiful and has so many fantastic quotes. This is going to be one that stays with me for a long time.

Linear I absolutely LOVED this book, and I'm so happy to see someone else loved it too! 4y

WOW. I am absolutely, head over heels in love with this book. It had eveything I could ever want. Murder, mystery, intrigue, magic, ghosts, grand balls, whimsy, romance, drama, and so much heart. Beautifully written and so well done. This has become my favorite book I have read this year.

I really enjoyed this quick read! I really wish a few plot points would have been fleshed out a little better but overall, a really fun, interesting and engaging story. I would definitely recommend.

Wow. I was so pleasantly surprised by this one. I'm not typically a fan of crime thrillers because I always feel like they are predictable and have the same formula with different characters. This one blew me away. Exciting and scary and kept me guessing. I could not put it down!

So I found this entire set on ThriftBooks for $9 and I couldn't *not* buy it. This series is so nostalgic for me. It's like comfort food. Curl up with these and a cup of tea and everything is right in the world. ❤️

How to Hang a Witch | Adriana Mather

I have some thoughts about this one. It was very entertaining and I loved the bits of actually history thrown in. Witches and Salem and magic, what more could a girl ask for? However, it wasn't very well written. It was fairly cheesy at times. But I can absolutely overlook that because it was su h a fun read. I'd recommend this if you are looking for a fun, easy read during this spooky, witchy season.

readingjedi Hope you enjoy it - it wasn't for me, sadly. I'm currently entrenched in Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy & I'm really enjoying it. 5y
ThalassaLuna @readingjedi damn, that dissapointing to hear. Hopefully I enjoy it! I'll have to check out that Trilogy next! 5y
readingjedi @ThalassaLuna There are A LOT of people who love this series - you might love it too! I'm always wary of starting unfinished series as well - the last part of this one has been pending for a loooong while. 5y

ThalassaLuna @readingjedi Honestly, that was my biggest concern too. I usually like to wait until the entire series is out, but it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon for this one. So now I'm getting pre-angry that I won't be able to finish the story haha 5y
Derf It‘s a great read, but as it‘s not finished it ruined the whole story for me. I‘d follow @readingjedi and start the Farseer Trilogy as it‘s amazing. 🙌🏻 (edited) 5y
ThalassaLuna @DannyHattan damn. That's a shame. The Farseer Trilogy is officially on my TBR 😊 5y

I actually really enjoyed this book! I have two others on my TBR (that are due back to the library soon) so I'll be reading those before diving into the next books in the series. But this book was delightful. Definitely a page turner. I'm glad I read it.

Dragonfairykats I was wondering how it was, since I've been waffling over reading it 5y

Ugh. I really disliked this one. I enjoyed it at first, but the more I read, the more I rolled my eyes. The conflict was lame and resolved too quickly. The sex scenes were cringy and at the most inappropriate moments (for example *immediately* following her confession of horrible childhood sexual abuse). I'm pretty disappointed in this one.

And now for a little smut. I've heard this series is great!

brit91 I really enjoyed this series!😍📚 it's one of my favorites!! 5y
ThalassaLuna @brit91 I'm really enjoying it so far! Very reminiscent of 50 shades without all the niave, hopeless, virginal bimbo stuff. 5y
brit91 @ThalassaLuna yes I agree I thought it was simpler too 50 shades but I think I like this series better than 50 shades! But I love 50 shades too! 5y
ThalassaLuna @brit91 same. I really loved 50 shades. This one is refreshing though. At least Eva is putting up some resistance so far. Not just swooning helplessly into his arms. Haha 5y

Oh boy. This one was actually fascinating. I stayed up way too late last night to finish it and I regret nothing. The dynamic between Hanna and Suzette was complicated and heartbreaking but I still found myself wanting to drop kick this 7 year old in a book. I really really enjoyed this book, as terrifying as it is. I would definitely recommend it.

Just finished. And wow! What a wild ride! The thing I appreciate about this book (and the other books from the same author) is that it wasn't predictable. I kinda pegged who the bad guy was early on, but even that had a twist. There were many other twists as well that kept me guessing until the end. Action packed, terrifying and intriguing. I'd definitely recommend this one.
