Terrible book!! I could not get into this story at all. The plot was hard to follow and poorly developed and the characters were boring and vague. I stopped and started this book at least five times. If it wasn't for my rule of finishing a book once I start it, I would have given up on this one about three chapters in. Save yourself some time and don't bother with this one.

What a fun, cute book!!! Totally fell in love with the characters and plot. Some of the antics in the book actually had me laughing out loud. This would make a great comedy movie!!! Can't wait to read more from this author. I love her writing style and the humor she brings to her books.

Great book!! This is the first in a four-part series that follows the lives of the Sinclair sisters who were adopted and raised in a small town in Tennessee. Their love of scrapbooking bonds them together and helps them deal with life's troubles. This book focuses on Tandy Sinclair, an up and coming high profile lawyer who returns home for a break after messing up a case. While there, she reconnects with her family and first love.

First book I read by this author and it was just ok. I think it's actually part of a series that I jumped into the middle of because there were references to things that probably occurred in prior books. That made it a little difficult to understand the connections. Also, the writing style just didn't engage me and the plot was kind of slow and boring; however there were a couple twists at the end that were sad and intriguing.

Another great book from Patterson!! An easy, quick read with an engaging plot and characters and a nice twist at the end that allows the series to continue. I will admit though that Patterson's books have become a little cookie-cutter; however I'm still going to read them because, well, it's James Patterson and how can you not read one of his books???

This book took my breath away. It is so elegantly written and portrays not only the beauty of sisters and family, but what it means to love and be loved despite our flaws. It is a powerful story. Truly heart-wrenching and unforgettable.

This book was way outside of my typical reading genre so I had a little trouble getting into it and, let's be honest, understanding parts of it. But, it has a very interesting plot and is based on an even more interesting concept. It is funny, sad, thrilling, scary, provocative, empowering, insightful, and thought-provoking. This book definitely makes you wonder how the world would be if the power balance ever shifted. Could we handle it?

This book was just ok in my opinion. It had an interesting plot, with some good twists but I didn't really care for the writing style. I had a hard time staying interested at various points throughout the book due to the time line writing style and the various narrators. It did have a good ending though.

Oakley's first novel takes on the big three...life, death, and love...and she does so with just the right mixture of humor, sarcasm, and seriousness. She really makes you think about how you would spend your days if you knew you were dying and to what end you would go to in order to make sure the ones you love and leave behind are taken care of. Great characters and an interesting plot. Just be prepared to cry!!!!

A fun, light, whimsical read. The main character is so cute and charming that you can't help but get caught up in her drama and predicaments. She is so relatable that everyone will find a piece of themselves in her and be able to understand and sympathize with her thoughts, feelings, fears, and joy. Will definitely read more from this author in the future.

This was an interesting read. Written as emails to a military friend, the story unfolds at a good pace and keeps you engaged. There are times when the character rambles and vears off topic which is frustrating. I was a little disappointed about the ending, but there were some surprises and a teary eyed twist that made up for it. They left one thing hanging which is driving me nuts, but you'll have to read it and see if it bothers you as well lol.
