I‘m enjoying this series by James Patterson and Candice Fox set in Australia. Harriet Blue is a good lead female, but has quite a different past and this strongly affects her decisions as a detective. An interesting storyline and left with quite a shock and a cliff hanger. Onto book 3!

Booknerd2 I just finished Hush. It was so good!! 4y

I have been struggling with my reading during these uncertain times. Then I dipped into my James Patterson stash - just what I needed. 3 books in 3 days. Each one a page Turner with a great storyline. The taggedone was my favourite.

This was a super quick and thrilling read! I finished it in about 6 hours. It was great to see a bit more of the dark side of Blue, and learn more about where she came from. You‘re beginning to see a well-rounded character that may or may not completely unravel. I love Fox and her exploration into peoples‘ dark sides.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a great read up until the last 60pgs. I still would recommend it as it was fast for the most part. I will still continue to read this series, the character Harriet is a new welcomed change.

I feel like I‘m in a bit of a reading slump, but I did hit 50 books for the year on good reads today. Last year I had only read 4 by the end of March!

ravenlee Wow! That‘s great progress. I‘ve been reading more this year than last, and I‘ve noticed when my pace slows it feels like a slump - but it‘s really still a normal pace. 6y

I enjoyed the book shot short book that introduced Harriet Blue. Then I wasn‘t thrilled with the first full length Harry Blue book. I‘m happy I have Blue another chance because I really liked this one. Action, twists and characters you care about. 🤓💙

I just fly through James Patterson books. This is #2 in the Harriett Blue series. There is a serial killer lose and the police, her collegues, arrest her brother Sam. Harriett knows he didn't do it. She tries to investigate, makes a mistake and is sent to the outback. There a person has left a dairy saying they are going to kill the town. Will she find the killer? Will she be able to help Sam before something happens to him?

This book was way, way better than the first one featuring Harry Blue. Her brother‘s on trial for murder and she gets sent away on another case. While she‘s in the middle of nowhere, she relies on friends to help her brother. No spoilers but I hated the ending. 🤬😡

Caffeinated_Reader I love James Patterson books! Ever since I read Bless The Child way back in my teenage years 😆 7y

I like the way Candice Fox writes the Harriet Blue novels. Very plot driven. A great pallet cleanser and quick read when that is needed. I believe the title is reference to the fact that the book alternates between two different story lines. One takes place in the Australian desert in the hunt for a killer. The other story takes place in Sydney and the hunt to prove the innocence of Sam, Harriet‘s brother.

Another great book from Patterson!! An easy, quick read with an engaging plot and characters and a nice twist at the end that allows the series to continue. I will admit though that Patterson's books have become a little cookie-cutter; however I'm still going to read them because, well, it's James Patterson and how can you not read one of his books???

Just finished this book tonight and it was so good! I really enjoy the character of Harriet Blue. She is fearless and ultimately a badass! No spoilers but the ending was shocking and I‘m ready for the next book!
