"Without knowing what I am and why I am here, life's impossible; and that I can't know, and so I can't live"

"You'll teach me
time is not sand but mud beneath
our feet, cool and thick."
I greatly enjoyed reading this book a few years ago. Not for the easily squeamish (or those with strong beliefs about how the dead should be treated), but that seems like it should be obvious from the summary. I really enjoy Roch's style of writing - technical enough to make you feel like you are getting a good picture of everything, but not so jargon-filled that it becomes inaccessible.
I don't usually consider myself much of a poetry person...but I loved this book. Going to be going back and reading through it several times.
