I'm going to gush a little. The Hero in this story is one of my all time favorites! Everything about him makes my heart hurt and sing all at the same time. I fell in love with him the first time I read this a few years ago. I recently rediscovered this book and fell in love all over again. It's the first book in the Wife Lottery series. #romantsy #osrbc

EloisaJames Jodi Thomas is such a great writer! 7y

Soooo, I'm having a hard time getting into this one. I loved all of the other books in the series, but so far Franka, the h, has no redeeming qualities...

This book was a recommendation by one of the lovely women of the #osrbc. I am not sure where to start. This is one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever read. the Hero is a caveman and the heroine is a time traveler. A love beyond time, language and every other obstacle you can think of. This will definitely be one that I will read again and again. By far one of the best books I've read. #romantsy

JanuarieTimewalker13 @VioletSelene I heard about this book over a year ago and I thought maybe my library would purchase it, but they have not. It's pricey online, and I don't own an e-reader. Do you know if a reasonable place to buy this book? I've been so curious about it! 7y
VioletSelene @JanuarieTimewalker13 the cheapest version I found was on Kindle. All other formats are pretty expensive for this book, and at $4.99 the kindle version isn't much cheaper. It was worth it though. 7y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @VioletSelene yes! I saw that!! My problem is I'm set in my physical book ways (although I have opened myself up to audio bc I get them free from my library via overdrive). Thank you for your help🌸 7y
ElaineHowlin I adore this book!! 7y

I loved this book! Although I like a good paranormal romance, it's even better with snark! if you haven't read up on Jane Jameson or Half-moon Hollow antics do it now, you won't regret it. #romantsy

Many times I've told myself not to do this, but Iread an excerpt of Seven Minutes in Heaven from USA Today. I hate reading excerpts because then I have to wait...forever...for the book to come out. I need to know more about Eugenia. I need to know more about Winnie, and I definitely need to know more about Marmaduke!!! Eloisa James, you're killing me! #romantsy #osrbc

EloisaJames My evil plan worked!! (Or USA Today's in this case). I'm so glad you liked Eugenia! It's one of the rare cases in which the cover is actually pretty representative of her. 7y

I was in the mood for something light. A friend recommended this book and I just downloaded the second in the series. A fun quick read with mystery, ghosts, and a touch of romance.

When I read a book that is a retelling of a fairy tale that I love I get so excited. You get a whole new take on a story that pulls on your heart strings and it gives you a chance to visualize it in a whole different way. This is my 3rd fairy tale this week. I may have a problem. #romantsy #osrbc

EloisaJames Well, I'm all in favor of that kind of problem! I'm so glad you're enjoying mine. 7y
monicab50 This book was so good it left me speechless for a while. I cried literally an ocean with this story. I've even mentioned it on the OSRBC and Eloisa's WTKBC fb pages. 💗💗 7y

First off, I have to say that I ❤ Kresley Cole! She could write the directions on how to hook up electronics and I would read it...and probably love it.
However, I was hesitant to read this book because I go through them so fast and then I'm waiting again, but since I have two books on the back burner I went ahead and read this one, and of course it was awesome!!!! #romantsy #osrbc #kresleycole

EloisaJames I love this book--not to put in a spoiler, but the clash between the hero and heroine is HUGE. So much fun to read for that reason! 7y
VioletSelene @EloisaJames normally with that kind of conflict, for that long, I lose interest. However, these two characters had so much to get past that I needed to know How they got past it. 7y
EloisaJames And then when it turned around and was his fault... delicious 7y
JoannaShupe This has been on my Tbr for a long time. I need to move it up! 7y
VioletSelene @JoannaShupe OOOHHH, you're in for a treat! Have you read any of her other books in this series? If not, I'd start at the beginning! Soooo good!! 7y

This is the first book in Penny Reid's Knitting in the City series and it's hilarious. The heroine is ridiculously smart and quirky, and the banter between her and her girlfriends is priceless. If you're looking for a smart, funny romance that also highlights the importance of friendship, this should be your next read!

This is book 4 in Rose Gordon's Groom series. The Hero is loveable and clueless with more than a touch of OCD. The heroine is funny and also a bit clueless. You should read the books in order for some back-story but this one is my favorite. #romantsy #osrbc

brownem I really enjoyed this series! 8y
VioletSelene @brownem me too. I had never heard of her. She was recommended by a friend. 😊 7y

I have three books that I go back to on a regular basis. I own them in every format that they are available in. A Kiss at Midnight by Eloisa James, Texas Destiny by Lorraine Heath, and Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase. I will even fall asleep listening to the audiobook of A Kiss at Midnight...better than being read a fairy tale. ❤ #romantsy #osrbc

EloisaJames That's one of the nicest compliments I've ever had--thank you!! 8y
EloisaJames And I'm downloading that book by Lorraine--it's one I haven't read. Lord of Scoundrels is my favorite historical ever. I think I've read it 20-30 times. 8y
VioletSelene @EloisaJames Thank YOU! Kate and Gabriel's is a wonderful story that I don't think I'll ever get tired of! I hope you enjoy Texas Destiny. 8y

I first read this book a few years ago and fell in love with all things Scottish. The vivid details in Diana Gabaldon's book make one feel like you are experiencing everything with Clair and Jaime.

VioletSelene @Sarah1960 I took a trip to Scotland a few years ago and I loved being able to see the places she describes so well in her books. So beautifully written. 7y

I really wanted to like this book but it just didn't hold my attention. Even the assassination plot was a bit bland for me. The hero just wasn't all that likeable even to his friends and family. Both H/h seemed a bit immature overall.

The first book in Jennifer Ashley's Mackenzie/McBride series, it is IMO also the best. I LOVED Ian's story and Ian. If you haven't read Jennifer Ashley's books I would suggest you start here. ❤

Not old school but a laugh-out-loud funny, and very sweet love story. If you haven't read Any of Penny Reid's smart romances you are in for a treat. This is book 3 in the Winston Brothers series. It's best if you read them in order, but I have fallen completely in love with brother #3. If you love bearded mountain men who want to feed you their sausage, you'll love Beard Science.
