Oh Cletus... dearest Cletus. You were everything I hoped for and more. This book was snort out loud hilarious, awkward and full of classic romantic tropes. I loved it. Reid still has me giggling 3 books into her series and I do not regret a single moment.

As this is my first one on audio (and actual first romance on audio), I must comment: Mr. Brinkley?? Phew! 🤤

Winston Brothers book 3 was not a disappointment! Wow!

I LOVED Cletus‘s story!!!!!! I am falling in love with Penny Reid. She has such interesting and strange characters. I can‘t stop, LOL

Not my favorite in the series (to be completely honest I was looking for it to be dirtier than it was) but still a good read! I love how tormented cletus was but still found his way to redemption!

And now for something completely different. (The Good House was getting too scary to read after the sun went down.)

So I‘ve been really into this whole Green Valley universe recently... I found them on Hoopla and even though I haven‘t liked everything I‘ve read, I keep coming back for more.

I was excited about this book and Cletus' story but all the blackmailing left me uneasy. Why, oh way, do I fret over fictional characters and some of the choices they make? Gaa! LOL

There are some books that are so comfortable it's like meeting up with friends again and again when I read them.

I‘ve had a couple of super busy weeks between work and the kids, plus I‘ve got a bad cold so I have barely done any reading recently. All I‘ve managed was a reread of this cute romance while nursing Nina in the middle of the night.

I love this series and was happy to finally read Cletus story.

I loved how Jennifer grew as a character throughout the story. I hated how her parents treated and kept her under their thumb. She is 22 and can make her own choices! The romance between Cletus and Jennifer and Cletus was so sweet and cute with out over doing it and making it mushy.

5 OMG!! STARS!! I LOVED THIS BOOK! It has one of my favourite plot types: the man helping to find a husband for the girl, but falls for the girl he's helping! Ugh, Love it! And to have that man be Cletus Winston, man oh man, Jennifer is one lucky lady! He is funny, sweet, caring, a bad boy when needed, gentlemanly, hard working and just about any other ideal a woman could want in a guy!

Good Morning Littens!

My hay-fever caused a cold and my cats woke me at "the butt crack of dawn" (to quote the Winston Brothers) - it's a public holiday in Germany. ?

It allows me to listen to the morning choir, watch the sunrise and enjoy the cool morning air, it soothes my cough.

Guess I'm not going back to sleep, but back to bed to read.

I loved this book!! Cletus is so oddly wonderful that I‘m seriously thinking of doing the audio.

Not as good as first book but better then the second book.

Look at this #CatsOfLitsy face! We've just finished the #audiobook.

As I've said before, I liked Cletus's story. I like Cletus. But I liked Jethro more. Still, I liked how Cletus helped Jennifer escape her Banana-Queen existence and become herself.

We're taking a break from the day - it's 8:36 a.m. here and we're both tired already.

So we're finishing this #audiobook. Ghost is napping, I'll be Litsy-ing for a moment, then #audioknitting.
I wish I wasn't tired and wiped out so early in the day.

For the record, the audio book is great (80% in). I like Cletus's and Jennifer's story, but I liked Jethro's story more.

Started this series (about a group of siblings in Tennessee) in the middle, and it is so frickin adorable. Cletus is an oddball genius who you never want to cross and Jennifer is the Banana Cake Queen 👸 who blackmails him into helping her. Grinned throughout the looniness and sighed in the sweet episodes. #romantsy

I'm really loving the Winston Brothers series, but so far I think Jess and Cletus's story is my favorite! They're considered odd in the town of Green Valley, but they understand and really come to know each other. This is such a cute and funny series!

This book has become one of my top 10 books. From the characters to the plot everything was captivating. Cletus will instantly become the book boyfriend you've always dreamed of and seeing Jenn grow and blossom as the book progresses is splendid. The relationship in this book will have you so invested in these characters' lives that you will want to read it over and over again.

Book 4 comes out 8/1. I only have one more Knitting in the City novel and short story to read before my Reid-athon is over. I'm kind of sad about that.

Starting this at lunch today. Jennifer is breaking my heart. I feel so bad for her and I'm only on page 8. 😢I need the Penny humor and fast!

This series is one #HappyRead for me.. I'm not a huge fan of romance novels, but once in a while they are the perfect 'break' 😊 and the first two were really a fun read!!
I'm waiting for the right time to read the third, Cletus is my favourite Winston!!!

This was a fun read! Unique characters and lots of appealing secondary characters. #romantsy

My first read of 2017 is also my first use of my new Kindle! Usually I use my iPad, but I was in the mood for a change of pace today and I'm liking the lighter weight and the no-glare screen. I do still need a case, though, to keep it safe!

I think Beard Science eclipsed all others to become my favorite Penny Reid book to date. This book is funny, weird, sweet, sad, touching, lovely, and wonderful. If you like great stories with interesting not "normal" characters, then this book if for you. 5⭐️️
