I have just started this gem by one of my favorite authors and she does not disappoint. I look forward to exploring Kingsolver‘s Tucson next month!

This was an honest and moving story about the struggles faced by immigrants in America who hope to achieve the American Dream. This would be a great book club selection as there are many interesting topics raised by the author. I highly recommend this book!

I finally finished this #BOTMBuddyRead and thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminded me of Margaret Atwood books that I have read; it was quite eerie to be honest. I definitely wouldn‘t want to live in such a society, it was a scary look into a potential future. Good choice @TheBookHippie and @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as A Gentleman In Moscow. The author is a fantastic writer and it was fun to see New York through the eyes of a sassy 20-something in the 1930‘s. Fun fun!

I am not a big reader of poetry but I am glad that I found this little gem. The author shares her raw emotions about love and loss through her prose. Some of the verses resonated with me. Overall I enjoyed it but it is not for everyone I think. It is an acquired taste I think. #Booked2018 (feminist classic)

I am thoroughly enjoying this read about the Republic of Georgia and its ancient wine culture. I always read a book about or set in a country that I am visiting and this is certainly an excellent choice! I am also very much enjoying the wines of Georgia during my travels!
