#BOTM add on....great quarantine read. Picked it up yesterday afternoon, read all today and finished this evening. Mystery, thriller, ghost story...very engaging and I second everyone, not a good night read... I tried last night and got scared 😂😂😂

#BOTM! Great read for a Friday night with margaritas😂 Zipped through this in 2 days. Very romcom but the characters were relatable and had depth. Light and fun read for quarantine 😷
#BOTM I really enjoyed the beginning of this book. It was engaging and had me wanting to see how this very unique plot unfolds. Slowed for me mid book and became pretty predictable. I did enjoy the different quotes from each chapter though!
Started with a bit of an eyeroll with the falling in love within a minute of seeing someone on the bus platform 😂 BUT definitely more complex than I expected and I enjoyed it. Teared up at a few parts even!
Compelling characters and storyline. I will leave it at that to not give anything away! Enjoyed my #BOTM pick!
I was really looking forward to it but turned out to be such a disappointment. This book was not good... not much else to say. 😂
March was fun month of reading!
Daisy Jones and the Six - An amazing #BOTM
The Forgetting Time - great pick/ discussion for IRL bookclub
The Year of Yes - TBR that I picked up at the exact moment I needed to hear what was written.
Everything, Everything - recommended for me to read. I enjoyed it!
At the Wolf's Table - random pick at the bookstore which turned out to be a great read
#BOTM book swap!! Saturday morning with my sister in law. Coffee, convos, and books! I couldnt't be more lucky to have a sis that has become a true friend AND loves to read! @maleahrae ❤
There are so many different layers to the story. Of course, the struggle of addiction, love, societal roles, etc but what struck me was the difference of perception of a sitution and how they were personally affected. Reid was able to weave this story and character development through an interview styled writing. It flowed beautifully and I was able to become invested in the characters and understand their viewpoint of what was occurring.
#BOTM got here early!! Excited for this! I was slightly obsessed with Evelyn Hugo 🎊 My sweet Tallulah is excited too 😂
#BOTM I was excited about my monthly pick. I do not know much about Lee Miller or Man Ray. Overall, I enjoyed the book. I would get bogged down at times with the photography descriptions. It is not all ritz and glamour of Paris in the 20s. There is a sadness that I am left with for Lee after I reflect on the story.
I visit the Biltmore every spring with my bestie so I have been looking forward to this read! It did not disappoint! I truly enjoyed the story in itself and I always enjoy a novel based on an amazing woman for her time. Also, Fowler accomplished another novel that captured the spirit and determination of a public figure that tends to be sensationalized.
My January books. Really enjoyed my #BOTM, The Night Tiger. The Song of Achilles was a Christmas present form @maleahrae so it carried over into January. I had to put it aside for a few weeks because I got mad at Achilles 😂 What a beautiful story and beautiful way to wrap it up. Madeline Miller deserves all of her praises!
Didn't get a snow day, surprise surprise! Finished this during my lunch today. Quick read, but man, it is a hard one. I actually loved the writing style but it is definitely not for everyone.
I finished this morning over coffee. I really love historical fiction and this did not disappoint. A very timely and captivating read. I found myself thinking about Hedy throughout my day as I worked on my own projects🤓👩⚖📚
Book haul from B&N! Thank you Christmas gift cards😂 Starting The Only Woman In the Room first. It was my surprise find!
My Saturday night and my mini tiger.
