Onto a new read! Definitely one of my favorite first lines.

I'm loving this book so far!

Slow start--the first 20% or so is boring, even if it sets up important character dynamics. But now we're getting to the good stuff!

Me too, Tea, me too...

Next on my list! Hopefully it'll help me recover from Traitor to the Throne.

I definitely have a book hangover! The vivid descriptions, the relationships between the characters, the magic of the Demdji and the Djinni--I don't want to leave! Also, that twist at the end! I can see the story was angling for something like that to happen. I can't wait for the next book!

So I had no idea this book came out like a week ago??? My reading game has been so off lately! (It might have something to do with the fact that I haven't used my planner in a week). But I'm reading it now and that's what counts!

I read this book a while ago, the same month I received it in my Owlcrate. I found it fascinating and a very interesting look into the fictional fantastical lives of the Brontes.

Finally (finally!) reading A Conjuring of Light!

New book sleeves! Soon to be in the shop, once I have time to take proper photos. Some time, I'm actually going to read a book, such as A Conjuring of Light or Caraval, both of which are in my possession. It seems a vacation doesn't actually afford much time for reading...

Currently reading this lovely book that came in the mail today! It's so much fun thus far and I can't wait to read more!

I'm hoping for some deliciously creepy scenes in this book! The first book was pretty creepy and, as it's Halloween time, I could use a little more creepy!
