I‘ve seen the commercials for the TV show. I really wanted to try it out, but alas do not have a subscription. Decided to listen to the book instead. The book is always better anyway, right? 😊 This is the longest #audiobook I‘ve ever downloaded at nearly 24 hours long! #fantasy

To be fair, I started this story with super high hopes since I was such a big fan of the Divergent trilogy. The story was good. I enjoyed it. I just didn‘t fall head over heels in love with it. The sneak peek of the second #audiobook was intriguing. Reviews have hinted that book 2 is stronger than book 1 so I may give that one a try, too. #ya

In my opinion, this was better than the first book. Great ending to a nice duology.

I loved the Selection. I listened to the series years ago. I came across The Heir and thought I‘d give it a try. It‘s a decent listen. I just didn‘t like it as much as the story that came before it. I find Eadlyn a lot less likable as an MC than her mother (America) was. It does give her a LOT of room for growth. The ending was a cliffhanger. I decided to pick up book 2 to see where the story goes next.

I liked this book. It didn‘t have as much romance intertwined into the story as I was expecting, but the world building and conflict made for an interesting audiobook listen. Kudos to the narrator for the great job with different characters‘ accents.

I have to be honest. I want to love this story. The audiobook was recommended to me by a friend. I started it over the summer, but keep abandoning it to start others. I don‘t dislike it, but for some reason i haven‘t found my way to the end yet. Eventually I will get there. Hoping to post a review at some point.

I basically devoured this audiobook. Excellent narration! I found myself sneaking in minutes whenever I could because I had to know how it was going to end! Absolutely loved it.

I enjoyed the depth of the characters. I really did feel like each of the authors in the Pen lived full and interesting lives that made them into the colorful elderly people we get to know. They felt real to me and I truly wanted them to finish their last story together.

It took me a little while to get into this book, but it was worth the wait. I listened to the audiobook over the course of a few days while commuting to work on the train. It held my attention, and really hit me with a lot of feels at the end.

It deals with sensitive subject matter, including drugs and cutting, so not a good fit for anyone in search of a light read.

Loved the author‘s note at the end.

I‘m loving this #audiobook so far. The first two in this series were great, but this one is giving me all the feels!

I adore a good love triangle. I‘m totally hooked!!

The narration on this book is excellent, too.

I've been itching for a new fantasy series to get into. It's been a while since I've tried any new vampire stories. This is a new to me author. So far, I like it. Totally into the pet wolf, too.

My latest #audiobook listen. It's pretty good so far. It's mentioned that Kit has an affinity for John Hughes movies, which I happen to share, so what's not to like about her? 😊

I especially like the performance of the male narrator. I've heard him before in Brigid Kemmerer's Letters to the Lost. The character in this story is vastly different, and yet he plays the part really well here, too.

This is the first book I've checked out by Marissa Meyer. The story felt a little slow at first, but it's picking up a bit now. The narration on the #audiobook is very good so far. #fantasy #aliceinwonderland

The book feels like it's off to a slow start, but I get the sense that it's going to pick up soon. I heart JLA so I'm going to wait and see. I'm yet to be disappointed with her, and I have read lots of her stuff.

I finished this #audiobook a few days ago. There were a lot of characters, so it took a bit for me to get a good sense for each of them. This book was interesting. It didn't grab hold of me in a non-stop action kind of way, but the story intrigued me and drew my curiosity. It was more of a simmer, and kept me wondering when it was going to bubble over.
