I am not sure why this book isn't getting more attention?! Its fascinating! I thought this book would be about the murder of Jean but that's only part of it. This gives an in depth account of the troubles in northern Ireland and the IRA. Unputdownable and the best book I read all year. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book started off great but half way through I realized I don't really care about the characters and what happened to them. The comparisons to An American Marrriage might have set my hope too high. ⭐⭐⭐

This was just okay with me. A lot of really good ideas that didnt seem to go anywhere. The writing was beautiful. ⭐⭐⭐💫

Even though I'm iffy with thrillers I was really excited for this one! I loved The Kind Worth Killint wo I was hoping Swanson would deliver. It was a compelling read but the end was a little too out there for me. ⭐⭐⭐

Angie Thomas does it again! Cant wait to see the movie adaptation for this. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I read this book in a day and a half. Its compulsively readable and the characters are very fleshed out. My heart broke for these woman in impossible situations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent. This book checked every box for me. The story was unique and the writing was beautiful.

3.5/5. I had high expectations going in to this one but I couldn't connect to it. I couldn't get past the humanization of Nazi and the characters felt a little shallow.
