"Comparison is the death of joy"
I'm writing a journal entry for each chapter. Each chapter she writes about a different lie that we (or society) tells us
Next up, another Natasha Preston novel.
EDIT: Finished this in 2 days, couldn't put it down.
Just finished re reading The Outliers for a 2nd time so I could start this baby 🤗 (Ordered the last of the trilogy online tonight as well) 30 pages in and about an hour left of babysitting left to go!
Re-reading this again so I'm nice and fresh on all the details when I read the sequel. (I finally bought it...it's been on my To Read list for a while). This book is definitely more on the YA side of young (if that makes sense) but I did enjoy the story!
This author did a great job making you feel empathy towards the "bad" guys in this book, making them the good guys at some parts.
12 hours total round trip on a plane calls for LOTS of reading. Finished this one today and I absolutely loved the ending. The book over all was good with characters that you loved and loved to hate.
Starting my next venture! This one was recommended to me a while back & finally getting around to it.
This book took me on a ride with so many turns. (some of which I predicted, but most of which i did not). I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to watch the movie.
Rainy days are for reading 🌨 Started this last night and didn't want to put it down. I love how from the start it drew me in and told me just enough of the story to understand it but to also still need more. Can't wait to plop down later to finish.
More than halfway through this book. Easy and enjoyable read so far! Love comparing books to movies 📚
